Same here, but I don't watch nearly as much as I used to. I think being younger, more horny, and less discriminating in the type of women I'd go to bed with made porn more exciting. yeah, i am consistantly amazed and bothered by how violent some straight porn gets. you actually dont see a lot of that in gay porn, unless you start looking into the heavy BDSM or leather stuff.
