Best Cinematography - Life of Pi

i have to say that life of pi winning cinematography is a little disheartening.

yes, its a beautiful movie, but its 80% CGI. cinematography is supposed to be about the way locations or sets are filmed and camera angles.

its more visual effects than it is cinematography.

very well-deserved special effects win though.

I wasn't that impressed with it either.

She said on the red carpet that Donna Versace made it for her as a Bond tribute.

suddenly it occurs to me that shirley bassey is gonna be what maya rudolph looks like in about 40 years.

Holy crap! Shirley Bassey must be in her 70's now, yet she can still bring it.
