I guess i should try to clarify a little.

Personally i could never get into Picasso's paintings but i don't know enough about his ceramic, sculpting or other stuff to say that the man is overrated. What i should have said is, i think Picasso's paintings are overrated but probably not the man's influence.

I guess with me its that i can get into abstract art but when it comes to painting people or real life, i prefer clarity and realism.

As far as painters that i do like. I like Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Pissarro, Henri Rousseau, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera(especially his murals).

P.S What's up with the weird sentence format on the Org lately ?

What am i doing wrong ?

I believe Tina said use shift and enter key to get space between sentences.

As for his paintings and sculptures I'm a true fan. Oddly enough, I'm not a huge fan of abstract art, but Picasso's the man.

Thanks kewl thumbs up! .

My sentences are sometimes hard to understand as it is without the added technical problems. I need all the help i can get.

As far as Pablo P, i probably need to look at his work with more objectivity and not go so much on feelings or emotions.

I do like the way Pablo uses colors though.

I got banana peppers on a Subway sub once, because one of my Facebook friends said they were really good. I wound up taking all of them off, because I just don't like how they taste. They don't do anything for me. To each their own, I guess. lol

Someone mentioned Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin as overrated. faint I paraphrase my man Jack White: "I dont trust anyone who doesnt like Led Zeppelin." disbelief

As for Derek Jeter...I am far from a Yankees fan, but his numbers speak for themselves. The guy is the all-time hits leader for the friggin New York Yankees! 'Nuff said.

My overrated list:

-political correctness (it's called 'the truth'; deal with it!)

-marriage (I'm happily married, but the shit aint all its cracked up to be)

-health insurance (if you know what you're doing, the government will pay for it all...i aint saying that's the right way to go, but its true)

-good credit (you can declare bankruptcy today and get approved for a new car and credit cards in less than two years...a higher interest rate, but not as high as most folks think, especially in times like these)

-blowjobs (I've received quite a few in my day and come to the realization that I'd rather just fuck you)

-anal sex (the supposed "Holy Grail" for many men; my wife loves it and I give it to her, but it aint all that to me)

-American Idol (just ridiculous...not the show, but America's fascination)

-Adele (definitely talented but come on, honey...how about a song about a good time you had with a man?)

-Michael Jackson (fantastic ENTERTAINER whose ART is flashy and mediocre)

-Madonna (I was a huge fan up until "Erotica"; now I look back and wonder what the hell I was so impressed with)

-NFL (it has surpassed baseball as America's favorite pasttime simply because most Americans now lack the attention span to enjoy a complete game one hit shutout...the need a big HIT every five minutes to keep interest...I love my Saints, but baseball - and the Dodgers - will always be numero uno to me)

-Starbuck's (ever notice how Starbucks got HUGE right around the time that "Friends" was riding high on NBC? America is nothing but followers)

-the space program (yes we need to know what's going on out there and what mat be coming our way, but a lot of that money could be and should be spent elsewhere)

-strip clubs (it's like going to the best steak house in town, ordering the fattest steak on the menu...they bring it to your table and let you smell it...then they take it away and you pay for it?)

Thats enough.....
