My favorite Southern word which I can't spell "trifflin" .
Trifflin' is the coworker who takes THE WHOLE damn bag which is for the whole staff to enjoy.
Trifflin' is the coworker who puts in in their kids lunch bag the next day.
Hint: Just one 'f.' Trifling, or triflin'. [Edited 2/26/13 19:08pm] I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |

This doesn't make any damn sense on Lays' part.
It IS a contest right?
How are you suppose to judge the best of the three if you can't taste all 3?
Worse, it is probably the most curiious sounding of the 3 with maple flavor being added to a chip. It is difficult to imagine what that would taste like, soOOO, that alone would make it a strong seller even if it wasn't the winner. Thank YOU. It is one of the nicest ways of calling someone a useless asshole out there. It is nice to have cuss words that are not really cuss words. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin. |

It's not super common, but yes they do. It's something like a Soul Food combo:

The dish was made famous, however, by a soul food diner in Los Angeles, the iconic Roscoe's house of Chicken & Waffles. The place has become so legendary that it's a popular celebrity haunt, drawing in movie stars, music celebrities, even the President for a plate of their famous Chicken & waffle combo with a side of maple syrup:

Me however? I'm actually more partial to chicken & buttermilk biscuits myself

Okay, I actually eat kale chips and green chips as a lo carb snack. Putting the flavor in a potato chip sounds goofy, but eating the vegetables themselves as chips is quite popular in health food circles:

Roscoe's is gooood stuff, I tell ya...the chips, not so much.
I bought a bag out of curiousity and they're still here four days later. That's a record for chips in my house. My sons were not impressed and I wasn't either. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise. |

so these flavors are just a "test",to see if people like them? I'd better find them soon, before one of them gets discontinued, lol
Not sure if they are a test; there may be bigger bags of them too on the market. I need to start checking around, and post on here again if I find them in a regular size bag.
all i've seen here in l.a. are the big bags. i was looking for a small bag, but had to get the big 'un. fortunately my ralph's supermarket was running a special. i think i'm going to pick up the cheesy garlic and sriracha ones tonight. i'll report back, esp. to tell you how long it takes for my TRIFLIN' co-workers to be all over them! |

Has anybody checked AM/PM's or 7-11? If I remember, I'll check my local 7-11 tomorrow. I really wanna try the cheesy garlic chips. I'd rather eat actual chicken and waffles than chip-flavored.
Just checked 7-11, and they are not there either. Maybe the assumption is that the Bay Area is too health conscious and wouldn't want to participate, or the opinions in this region do not matter. [Edited 3/1/13 17:47pm] "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

DAMN!! now i'm having the same problem as a lot of orgers .... i can't find the chips anywhere! went back to my ralph's, the one about a mile away, the cvs, the walgren's. went back to my ralphs. all kinds of chips, all kinds of ways, except these. i KNEW i should have gotten all three when i picked up the chicken & waffles ones. my little voice was telling me to but i didn't listen. DAMN! in other news, i did get some candy for my dish in my office. it's monday, so i'm gonna see how long it stays there. i'm thinking it will be gone by tomorrow. (triflin', i tell you. . . ) |

My mother lives in Atlanta (a city that actually has waffle and chicken restaurants) and I asked her if she saw these chips in her local supermarket. She said No,so I'm assuming that these chips haven't made their way to all the cities yet.I'll wait a few more weeks before I panick |
