Basically this is a shameless photowhore thread

Anywho i have been body building the last half a year and also grew my beard out and hair for a good... 5 months and just shaved on top of cutting it off.

I usually am scared to post pics here but i am feeling confident today

Short hair is cool, but as an older guy whose hair is going gray, and whose hairline is receding more than I thought it would, my advice to young people is:

GROW LONG HAIR WHILE YOU CAN AND KEEP THAT LONG HAIR FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN.

Maybe in a few more months! i started personal training in August and took a before photo. Mya fter photo is next month

I am glad i did this i did workout but i was so off and on for a long time... and man i thought awhile walking 30 minutes a day would be enough

I have never been happier with my body but still a bit self conscious

So i rarely grow my hair long out anymore

Sorry everyone had to correct that!

I shaved off my beard on top of getting the haircut! so no more beard

But i was getting my grizzly Adams on so i think this is a good change.

@Guns, welcome to the club brother. @Rodeo, yeah i hear ya. As a young man i took my long hair for granted. I thought it would last forever but boy was i wrong. I always had the dracula hairline but by the of age of 32 the sides of my hairline were starting to recede and by the the age of 37 the front was disappearing. I kept my hair short for years but about 5 years ago i decided to grow it out...The result was basically this(first picture). It wasn't nearly as bad but it was close.

Both photos are of Devin Townsend

@guns. If you ever start to feel like your hair is looking like the first picture, don't be afraid to do the second picture.

It looks good on you and don't worry about the hairline because in this day and age, short hair is in and even bald is in. You've got a good shaped head for it. It wouldn't work on me though because with my head, it would look like Uncle Fester from "The Addams Family" on me.

I hear ya. Devin is kinda eccentric so he probably doesn't give a damn either way. For the record though, he finally shaved that madness off. He looks totally different.

Also by now he's probably a multimillionaire so he can basically look any ol way and not suffer any repercussions.

Anyway as others said. Your hair(and head)looks just fine.

p.s. Also for the record. I came to my senses and went back to having a bald/short haired head.
