jonylawson	which laptop should i buy?? ideally a really good second hand one cos im tight but ALL i will use it for is storing my music(and a bit of porn probably) any suggestions? a kick ass one thats maybe 2 years old so i can get it cheap!

I was about to say the same thing. hug I hope everything works out RenHoek.

The only refurbished computers I've ever purchased were Apple.

Read the small print on returns, who pays for shipping if you have to return it, and warranty.

I'd checkout Levono, Toshiba, and Acer, I'd stay away from anything HP. Don't purchase anything with a AMD processor. Go with INTEL processor with an Quad i5 and OS Windows 7 notebook. Windows 8 is a disaster everybody knows it and Microsoft is trying to pretend it isn't, wait for Windows 9. Microsoft is following a pattern of ever other OS sucking. I would purchase a refurbished notebook if you can from a brick and mortar store and/or their website.
