Christmas movies

Being that time of year, are there any movies you really love watching this time of year??

Mine are:-
Scrooged
Love actually - great soundtrack, not to mention Liam Neeson's voice!
The Grinch
The Santa Clause
The Nightmare before Christmas
You know you are in love, when you cannot fall asleep because your reality is finally better than your dreams - Dr Seuss

When I was really, really little I went to see Laurel & Hardy's "March of the Wooden Soldiers" with my uncle at the movies (we spent Christmas in Honduras that year...it may've even been in Spanish lol )

For a long time, I would watch it every year when they played it on Channel 11 around here.

When my kids came along, I tried to get them to watch it, and they were having NONE of it.

talk to the hand

Their fav holiday film is the ANIMATED Dr. Seuss' "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and (of course) "Home Alone".

I love the scene in Grimlins where the girl talks about her father dying during Christmas.

I crack up everytime I see it.

(for the record, I don't think that parents dying is funny...it's the way the scene is so obviously trying to tug at our heartstrings, and the perposterous story that cracks me up)

Oh MY GOD, YES. Before Tuner bought the rights ( and for that very reason) Timmy you could watch "It's A Wonderful life 24/7 , seven days a week starting a little before Thanksgiving until the new year. It did make any difference, if you missed it at 8:00pm oh, someone would have it on at 11:00pm, 2:00am it didn't matter. Dumb me, I watched every time single time. dunce

lol
