Jonah Hill and Don Lemon fighting...

[img:$uid]http://i1249.photobucket.com/albums/hh516/Lauralevesque/jonahhill.jpg[/img:$uid]

Just saw this on Dlisted:

CNN anchor Don Lemon called out Jonah Hill on Twitter yesterday for being a self-important, rude douche of the highest order and Don came off as a self-important, rude douche of the highest order while doing so. Don tweeted that he was waiting in the lobby of his hotel when he recognized Jonah Hill. When Don said hi to him, he says Jonah acted like a diva and brushed him off. Jonah responded to Don and that's when they started yanking at each other's weaves. Oh, if the Internet is high school, then Twitter is the furthest quad from the principal's office where you can always watch two catty bitches going at it. This is how Don and Jonah's cat fight went down:

I happen to think Don Lemon's right- I've seen Jonah Hill in interviews acting all important and overly serious- I think he's a douche.

Really?

He's a friend of a family member of mine and I've never heard about him being a jerk but just going by that little interaction I think Don Lemon was pretty childish to start it all. Talk about passive aggressive silliness.

Don needs to act like he's 46 and grow the fuck up, it's the smallest of slights and ameturish on his part to talk like this.

note how Don is placing a dot before his replies to make sure all his followers (whom aren't following Jonah) can see the exchange. childish at best.

And Don says he didn't know his name?

So basically they did not know each other. Why should either of them have even said hi? What a total non-issue.

I think from the way Don was acting about it, that maybe he was happy to meet Jonah Hill and didn't feel the love back. I actually kind of get why he would have been ticked off. Once I read this great book by this Dr. who owns a winery here and I just LOVED the book and thought the Dr. was so great, until one day when I was in his winery and went up to say hello and he brushed me off- a total jerk- I guess maybe Don feels that way? that he was brushed off. But it is silly anyway.

I've never heard of Don Lemon and judging by his actions, I haven't missed anything.

Jonah Hill shouldn't have even responded. Why argue with a pig? All you do is get muddy.

To be honest, I didn't recognize Don Lemon right away until I saw the CNN tag. I was thinking Don Chaeadle the actor for some reason lol. But the remark, stardom is fleeting was kinda lame. I think that remark can apply to high profile newscasters as well.

I have no idea who he is, but I would never expect a stranger to be delighted to see me, whether it's Don Lemon or Jonah Hill or some random person

The problem with social networking, that these two celebirties wouldn't have the balls to say to each other in person what they say to each other on twitter. I think the freedom of just compulsively letting your personal thoughts to be read on these places serves no purpose other then to show how shallow & self involved these celebirties really are.

He's been on Stern a few times and seems like the sweetest, most self-effacing guy ever.

Team Hill. yay!

No matter who started the foolishness, it was continued with responses. I say both were childish.

Jonah: 'I said hi what do you want me to do move in with you?'

falloff I can totally see Jonah saying this to Don's face. Too funny. I think they should both:

I know it might feel lame, and I know celebs are not better than us, but I have some sympathy for them when this is not an occasional thing, but 100 people a day want to chat with you and you just want to go to the bathroom.

It would get harder and harder to be polite and give people my full attention and a genuine conversation.

First, only children have spats on Twitter.

Second, who is Jonah Hill? I never even heard of him until a couple days ago when this story came out.

don lemon needs to get over himself. For some reason, we don't expect celebrities to be normal people with lives that don't revolve around their fans. One minute he was claiming to not know who Jonah was, the next calling him out for not acknowledging him. I wouldn't acknowledge don lemon either. I'm not impressed with newscasters.

Jonah was the curly aired kid from Superbad, played the foil to Russell Brand in Get Him To the Greek and was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Moneyball.

Sounds to me that mr. Lemon was the one acting self-important.
