Thanks SynthiaRose. Yes, you are correct... I do not like conflict and get very traumatized... emotional when conflict do arise. Hours later the 1/3 Cappie will act like nothing happened... while I am sitting silently plotting my divorce. LOL.

I always thought Cappies were a soulmate to Cancers.. and for years we have got along like peas and carrots. But the personalities (as you have said) is also important. You have to WANT to be stimulated by conflict. And conflict and uncertainty is definitely stimulating.

For the record... on the 2nd Cappie (1/20) I find my brief interactions with him both uncomfortable and exhilarating at the same time. A very uncomfortable position, yet I keep going back for more interaction because it so stimulating.

The warrior Aries, the master of using conflict and battle for all sorts of purposes.

With both Aries and Scorps being Mars-ruled, I always say they understand the dynamics of clashing better than anyone. Aries are like the only other people I know who don't perceive aggression/clashing as authomatically negative or bad. OMG! That is soooo Cancer. I find myself always having to soothe Cancers after an argument whether I'm wrong or right; it's just easier because yes they will feel slighted foreverrrrrrrr!.

And I'm like that Cappie -- I get over conflict almost instantly. It's really doesn't bother me -- except to prove (or disprove) that we can survive hard times/obstacles.

This reminds me of a scene on "Khloe & Lamar" ( yes, I watch). Khloe is a Cancer and Lamar is a Scorpio -- adorable couple by the way. They were arguing over something and Khloe started CRYING and saying "I don't want to argue with my husband!!!" And Lamar, all calm, was like "arguing is what people do. It's not going to break us up."

He was so non-chalant about and felt it was so natural, but she was so traumatized and panicked; I will never forget the astro-symbolism.

I do think Cancers and Caps can be natural soulmates, but I've seen it go 50/50. My parents should have divorced but stayed together for 50 years out of duty (totally a cap/cancer "responsibility" thing).

I felt the Capricorn was too cold, stern, and harsh for the sensitivities of my mother. And in turn, my mother withheld emotion, as Cancers do, and lived inside her shell. Tragic. I find it's hard for either sign to reach out to the other when wounded, which can make things difficult.

That said, my Cancer mom was attracted to my father's commanding, strong nature. And he liked her womanliness. Cancer and Capricorns are like the classic feminine/masculine coupling.

I will say that even though my mom's marriage didn't reflect the potential between this pairing, my mom has TONS of Capricorn friends. She loves Caps! At 76, she still has a CApricorn best friend from high school!!! They are a great pair.

I see how this interpretation fits a normal Venus in the 10th house, but it is, in some aspects, soooo unrepresentative of me. However, this illustrates the need to interpret a planet by considering all the features. The fact that my Venus is opposite Saturn negates a lot of this. Saturn is a denyer, a delayer and some consider it a malefic. And I have to say that I have experienced this negative, stifling energy against my Venus, although I try not to see negativity in aspects/I try to be optimistic about what Saturn can bring. Out of privacy, I decline to detail specifics, but write the opposite of some of these statements and that is my true Venusian reality with the Saturn opposition.
