I still love the original.

I've seen all of the Romero "Dead" films... even though he produced this one, it didn't thrill me.

I prefer this remake over the original. The chick wasn't all weak and helpless like in the original film. She kinda reminded me of the Ellen Ripley character in those Aliens movies. She was tough, took control and she was a survivor. shoot2

This is the first version I ever saw so I prefer it over the original.

I do have the original on DVD though and my DVD has Elvira cutting in from time to time with her great big ole titties and making comments. The DVD has the option to show the movie with or without Elvira but I prefer it with Elvira. lol
