Isn't there supposed to be a "sonic boom" whenever an object breaks the speed of sound???

...is there footage anywhere from his suit?

I was watching it on the Red Bull website...then CNN...and when he jumped CNN cut to reporters (wtf?) so I went back to the computer and watched the descent. I thought for sure he'd lost consciousness when he began spinning, but then he righted himself and I breathed a sigh of relief.

But I saw no footage from his suit (and I recall the ground control guy telling him to turn on his camera).

Anyone???

I wonder what new inventions or ideas this crazy ass stunt will lead to.

I loved when he started tweeting cute stuff from up there, as if his mother was having it at that time but It made me think how Twitter can really be a wonderful thing.

so nerve wracking when he first stuck his feet out & started adjusting himself to the edge of that thing, I was so ready for him to just slip and probably pass out from the scare, so crazy.

If you look at the footage really careffully and slow it down at the bit where he is spinning you'll see some sort of craft appear at extreme speed and follow him down for a bit. His spin then eerily rights it'self and then the craft speeds off at impossibly fast right angles.

Conincidence?
