i am getting a sharp pearcing pain on the right side of my rib cage and when it happens the pain is travelling around to my mid back and i am also experiencing abdomen pain ~ like horrible horrible period pain

its midnight so 2 late to c a doc ~ but when it happens it hurts so bad i feel like crying

i put a hot pac on it ~ but still not feeling good!!!

I'm not a dr. and don't want to make you paranoid, but if it's not menopausal symptoms or hormones, I think the gall bladder is on that side

i think i have kidney stones again ~ but my ribs r hurting real bad this time and last time that didnt happen

If it's real bad, i'd call an ambulance or emergency doc. Just in case.

sounds gastric/gall bladder. hope u get some answers & don't hold back on the morhine. hope it settles soon u poor thing

Right side could be appendix. I'm glad you've gone to Urgent Care. Hope all is well and that you feel better soon.

I was treated for dehydration, and diagnosed with gatritis after they ruled out gall stones...

I'm home today, and where did I go after my nap? The Org.

I have to do a month of Maalox & Prilosec.

That Maalox is so nasty! There must be a place in Hell where they make you drink it for eternity!

Sounds a little like kidney stones to me (ribcage...isn't the gallbladder lower???).

I've had kidney stones.

The pain starts in your lower back, and it's like a wave or spasm that radiates through your lower abdomen. It's pain like I wouldn't even wish on my worst enemy (okay maybe one person )

Last night, the doctor showed me where gall bladder pain would be. It is higher.

lately i've had migraines followed by vomiting too, especially if I've tried eating or drinking to counter it and nearly went to the hospital the other day to see if it's dehydration but got better, it happens on and off, but if it happens again, I'm going

My kidney stone was one of the worst pains I have ever felt. Luckily it didn't hurt when it "passed" but on its way down it KILLED me.

Kidney stones are such a drag!!

I've never had them, but have help many who have and I want NO PART of them.

I hope they all pass quickly and that you feel better soon.

Hell yes!

I was in the ER begging for painkillers.

I could pass mine. I had to do lithotripsy (shock wave treatment).
