One of the local country stations has this bit they run called "Second Date Update". Allegedly, if two people go out and one has a great time but the other won't ever call/return your call, you can get the radio station to call them, with you secretly listening on the other line.

It's a set-up, I'm sure, but OMG they are funny!

This morning, it was the guy that wouldn't call the girl back after a "great" first date. So they get the guy on the line and he says the girl was great, there was just a generation gap. "Generation gap!" screams the now-exposed girl on the other line.

Sure! He's 26 and she's 19. "She's all MTV, ABC Family, while I'm about current events. I just need someone I can relate to. Nothing personal".

So the radio station offers a limo and a fancy dinner if they'll agree to another date. The guy says, "Can I take someone else?"

The girl says, "Oh my god! She did it again! You're dating my mother, aren't you????"

Yeah! He was! She goes ballistic and tells the guy to ask her mom why she has a prescription for Valtrex.

I know these are all fake, but man are they funny!

My favorite was this Russian girl who was about to be deported and was insisting the guy marry her immediately. She even said she'd pay him $5,000.

This morning some guy took a girl to the movies and she never would call him back.

On the phone, she asked him who his role model is. He said, "My older brother, because he taught me how to drink, do drugs and party. And when I was a freshman in high school, he brought me up to college and we made love to the same woman one night. I was kind of hoping our date would turn out like that".

Needless to say, there was no second date, LOL.

That's better than "The War of the Roses".
