"cold" as in refrigerated, or cold as in "not hot/melted"?

I don't think cold cheese is that bad. If cooked right, it could be real good. Never got the idea about curry though.

Tomatoes are fine on sandwiches/burgers with condiments or on pizzas, but they are not apples. You don't eat them as they are.

Orange juice goes with everything, just like water. Drinking orange juice with any food item is no more disgusting than eating the food item by itself.

When I was a kid, I remember reading somewhere that you shouldn't drink orange juice after midday and while I'm sure it's totally bogus and bullshit, every time I drink it after midday I kind of pause - like orange juice is cinderella and it turns into cyanide or something nutty I guess that's my food peculiarity 'cause I'll eat pretty much anything unless I'm on some nutrition kick shrug

Oh, this one is a REAL stickler with me: I HATE it when someone eats off my plate or drinks out of my glass or bottle. My mom used to be good at doing this, until I finally got her to quit (after telling her numerous times to please not eat off my plate). Now my little niece is starting to do the same thing. The last time I was at her house, I had a bottled water that had a liquid enhancer in it that made the water pink in color. My niece took a swig out of the bottle, not even asking me if she could have a sip. It was only when I saw her drinking out of the bottle that she asked me if she could have a sip, but by then, it was too late. I wound up throwing the rest of the water out when I got home. I'm real funny about other people eating off my plate or drinking out of my glass or bottle. I'm not a germaphobe (if you saw how messy my house gets, you would understand), but who know what germs someone has in their mouth? Ick! ill I work two jobs, and cannot AFFORD to get sick and miss work. I have to learn to hide my water bottle and/or to keep it with me at all times, so that this does not happen. Does anybody else get turned off by someone eating off their plate or drinking from their glass or bottle?

Oh, good one, Nancy. I HATE this! mad

I don't even need that. lol

I have a group of foody friends that if we're eating out together, chances are we're ALL gonna have a taste of what each other is having. Cutlery and sometimes even forks end up shared.

I'm simply not squeamish about that. It's yummy food. Yum.

I wouldn't share with a stranger, though. Well... maybe. There was that pie incident. neutral

I used to be that way when I was a kid. If I tasted mayo I would get the urge to puke. barf

Then I slowly started eating BK Whoppers with the mayo masked by ketchup.

Now I put mayo on everything.

Do you have any strange likes/dislikes when it comes to food?

I know people who don't drink a drop of their drink until AFTER they finish their meal.

My oldest brother is the same way, he will not drink anything until after he is done eating. Personally, I don't know how people can do this without their throat getting dry and/or food getting stuck in their throat, but somehow he manages.

I'm the same. Just had a 2piece meal from KFC with gravy, washed it down after with a Pepsi.

Yum.smile

I know what you mean, I remember actually throwing up as a kid eating a bologna sandwich with mayonnaise on it. I think that's what started me to have a profound dislike to mayonnaise. I've made sure to put mustard on my sandwiches since.

@Hudson, I just noticed the tomato post... yeah I don't understand who eats tomatoes bare (I did once and didn't want anymore) or tomato sauce... I rather put tomatoes in salads and sandwiches myself though I seldom put it in sandwiches.

tortilla chips in chicken vegetable soup. when the chips soften a bit, they kinda taste like a corn dumpling.
