I couldn't forget if I wanted to... we had to not only wear beads today but pass them out. I have heard these words: "It's fat tuesday today!" and "Paczki", one too many times in the course of about six hours.
I wonder how many people will go to the hospital from eating too many Paczki's. | |

I would normally be celebrating...
But I'm sick today. 
They did have a jazzy/dixie band, red beans & rice, catfish, gumbo and king cake in my cafeteria today for the festivities. But since I'm sick I had plain, vegetarian vegetable soup. I didn't even get any beads they were passing out cause I was too crabby... But normally I love me some Mardi Gras!!  |
