Imagine the years of torture at the hands of school kids, and knowing my dad I would not have been allowed to abbreviate my name on paper so everybody would know it. Beth probably would have been out anyway because my "cousin" I grew up with, middle name was Elizabeth, sometimes called Beth, and her mom was one of those that would use the first and middle name calling you sometimes, and those "wonderful" occasions she'd use your full name.

I suppose they knew I was a boy, because it was between Derek and Andrew, and Andrew won on a coin flip

My parents didn't make plans for if I was a boy, but if they did I hope it would have been Etienne.

My parents had no plans of having a boy, so my only name alternative was Stephanie

I have a unisex name so mine would still be the same and i still would date only women

My parents didn't want to know what my sex was until I was born, so they had two names picked out...had I been a boy I would had been named after my dad and grandfather and been a "III".

After having two boys already, my mom was sure, or at least hoping, I was going to be a girl so she didn't have any boy names picked out. My alternative girl name according to my dad was Alicia, Ali for short. My mom said "hell no" to that though. So now my dad tries to say I was named after his drunk cousin. My mom says my oldest brother was going to be Julie if he were a girl and that was before she even knew my dad.

They didnt have a girls name because they only wanted a boy and yes........

they were very very very very very very disappointed

My Mom said she never had a boy name picked out when I was on the way, she just figured she would have a girl.

She said had I been a boy she isn't sure what she would have named me,but she knows I definately would not have been name after either of my grandfathers, or been a jr.

Patricia Marie after my Grandmothers names reversed. Thats why my middle name is Kevin after my grandfather.
