Actually, I'm not surprised people are doing that, but it really pisses me off. Why is it when the 4th of July comes around, some people stop acting like they have any sense? And then you add in the excessive heat, and people are already on edge. I'm just afraid a bunch of losers are going to get all worked over nothing and end up killing some innocent kid in the process.

I know Im in my apartment and I cant believe someone would shoot around here with kids in the complex

Somebody around here, like, on my street, has some 1/4 sticks this year. They've been settin' 'em off of about a week. They're so loud and powerful that they rattle windows. That's fun? I love fireworks, but that shit is just stupid. Somebody has been calling the cops on them, too. I''ve seen them rolling really slow around the neighborhood after the gigantic BANGS! Tonight should be fun. Still got two hours before things get real heavy here.

That gun shit... don't even get me started. I guess some folks just take the Bill of Rights a bit too literally on Independence Day.

Sadly these fools in Shi-Town think the 4th started in Feb. They shut down parts of the West Side today because them dumbasses think they are back in fuckin' Wild Wild West. This is as bad as its gets and never seen anything like it.

Its beyond rough...these fools have lost the last damn common sense the Lord gave them. Got iPod/iPhone download the Police Scanner App and listen to this mess.Thank goodness for this app... these days you need to know where not to go, which is the entire city. We moved out and took my mommy too.

Started here an hour and twenty minutes before dark. There's been all kinds of bangs, big and small, and those stupid whistle things for the last ten minutes solid.

My son thought all the noise was gunfire for the past two day... I told him it was fireworks. Some of them do sound a lot like gunfire with all the bangs.

Where i live at now( San Jose, Ca)its fairly quiet. I heard a few gunshots last night though.

Now when i lived on the East Side of Fresno(Ca),that shit was crazy. The Oak Park area of South Sacramento was pretty bad as well.

As for Chi-Town. Man, i feel for you guys. They need to get the National Guard up in that bitch ASAP!
