well, i wouldn't be to scared reading those web reports. in the long run, habitual caffeine intake is

kind of bad for you, yeah.

but it's not like a cup of coffee is going to actually kill you flat out lol

moderation is the key, as with everything.

i've cut back to 2 cups a day after re-reading this book. plus 2 cups of green tea and for the rest

i just drink herbal tea or herbal coffee.

the difference in going to this routine, coming off my old 10 cups of coffee a day routine, is that

i feel much more awake, more energetic, have less headaches and don't have to pee every two

minutes.

you probably get headaches from coffee because coffee influences your bloodpressure. do you

also drink a lot of soft drinks? those have lots of caffeine too.

if you want to cut back, cut back slowly. cutting back too much or even going cold turkey will be

sure to result in more headaches, moodswings, etc etc.

i found it very easy to cut back substituting part of every mug of coffee that i drank (i only drink

instant) with herbal coffee powder. it tastes almost the same but contains 0 caffeine.

that way you can balance the real coffee/herbal coffee ratio per mug until you only drink very

little actual coffee in every cup.

or just drink smaller cups, as many times a day as you do now if you get coffee from a pot at

work or from a machine etc. then try to switch one cup at a time for green or herbal tea and

just take it from there.

You might need to increase the amount of water you drink to make up for all the caffeine which is a diuretic

To remove nearly all the caffeine from a tea bag, steep it in boiling water and then discard and pour the cup of tea again.
I buy decaf tea myself nod

Maybe it is the Brand of coffee, too strong? Change the brand and see what happens. You should go to the doctor also to be on the safe side. I drink instant coffee, it is not as strong as the other brands. I looked up some info on Google. Mecication use and drinking coffee can contribute to headaches. Are you eating properly? Not eating a balanced diet or skipping breakfast can cause headaches also.

it could be the coffee that makes you feel that way.

Maybe if you start with water, then some food, and THEN some coffee that you will feel better. And with some food in your stomach the coffee will not affect you quite as much

I feel so much better since I gave up caffeinated coffee. My blood sugar is more stable and I don't get a headache every afternoon. One of the best things I've done for myself.

I took myself down to 1/3 caffeinated and I feel a lot better too. I used to get kind of lightheaded after really strong coffee.
