Plot Summary:

The film follows the homicide detective/psychologist Alex Cross (Tyler Perry), from the worldwide best-selling novels by James Patterson, as he meets his match in a serial killer (Matthew Fox). The two face off in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, but when the mission gets personal, Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits in this taut and exciting action thriller.

I'm not mad at Perry 4 trying but this cat has the acting skills of a 10 year old.

I'll probably pick it up on DVD. I'm not into Perry films at all.

holy crap, I was expecting "three snaps in z formation" in some of his scenes.

Erm...his acting isn't very good, but the bad guy's acting is worse.

I think Matthew Fox will steal the movie in his portrayal of the sadist dubbed Picasso. Perry's role was supposed to go to Idris Eba, but something unexpected happened.

I agree. I'm no acting expert, but his skills are pretty bad.

I do commend him for trying something new. They say that he had to audition for this role like everyone else and the casting people thought TP was a good fit. I guess we'll see.

See now...I could definitely see Idris facing a badass serial killer...but how you gonna have a whacked-out, MMA-fighting, 'roided out psycho go one-on-one with Madea and make it seem believable???
