That's the one. I liked it as well, probably more than the 3/5 rating I gave it above - it seems like a stronger movie in retrospect. I'll probably watch it again this weekend.

I don't doubt that may be true, but I don't really see that side of his personality. But you're not the first to say it!
The only thing in that movie that was sort of questionable to me was when they were playing the U2 song and the Edge somewhat proudly said it was kind of punk, and Jack's response made me think he was agreeing but only to be polite. Like there was indeed the last remnant of punk in the song, but you'd have to listen closely to find it. My Legacy

4.5/5
The best Batman yet and despite its flaws the best superhero movie yet. I was highly skeptical of Anne Hathaway's casting, but she's fantastic. more depth to Catwoman than any prior depiction including Michelle Pfeiffer.
Great villain. Almost too good as they painted themselves in a corner.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS:
Hundreds of police underground for months and no one finds a way out? (Let alone why they didn't get the order to withdraw when it was given.) It recalls the Chilean miner saga but the logisitics of this would've required a commitment of resources to keep them alive.
It was obvious (to me) that climbing out without the rope was the strategy to take.
In refence to the point above, the many layers of the movie give it depth and richness unexcepted in an action film. Plenty of political and social commentary, that thankfully isn't explicitly laid out as if we can't understand.
Nice twist but unresolved as to what led to the initial distrust.
A neutron bomb is designed to kill people and leave buildings standing. It wouldn't have leveled the island.
How did the island maintain power and city services for months, isolated?
Cop blowing the bridge? WTH?!! Hello, McFly?!!!!

To Rome With Love (2012) - follows four stories as they unfold in Rome. aside from the beautiful scenery, the film hardly goes anywhere. 3/5 "what's that book where they're all behind the wardrobe?"

I fished this Blu-ray out of a discounted bin a few weeks back, & got around to watching it tonight. I like it, but I thought the ending was a little anti-climactic.

Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom
This movie is based on a book written by Marquis de Sade. I kept on hearing about how sick and disturbing it was so naturally i had to see it. Actually it was banned in a few countries when it was first released in 1975, so that peaked my curiosity even more. The movie does have a lot of nudity, graphic violence, sexual depravity and sadism and although it is disturbing, it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. The nudity didn't faze me but some of the dialogue did. They talk about some pretty sick stuff. Overall it was more silly than interesting. If i was to compare it to another movie it would be the Human Centipede.
Personally, i liked the Human Centipede better.

Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) - Faced with her father's fading health and environmental changes that release an army of prehistoric creatures called aurochs, six-year-old Hushpuppy leaves her Delta-community home in search of her mother.
It's amazing that all the actors were locals with no previous acting experience.

Thank You For Judging
In Texas every year, the best of the best come to be judged at the mother of all Speech and Debate competitions. They might play all the characters from a madcap stage play, interpret aloud the autobiography of a ninety year old, speak from their heart about labels and stereotypes, or argue the rights and wrongs of the latest in politics. These kids will tug at your heart strings and tickle your funny bone as they learn not only about speaking in public, but also confidence, adult relations, and self-presentation, both in appearance and eloquence.

Margarita
Margarita captures a turning point in the life of a Canadian family. Power-couple Gail and Ben have all the visible advantages of two successful careers – a beautiful home, vacations and a nanny for their teen-aged daughter, Mali. Inside the beautiful home, however, a creeping complacency has left the once idealistic couple disconnected from their dreams, from their child and from each other. On top of this, some amateur investing has left them just about broke. At the centre of their new reality is Margarita, the young Mexican nanny, who has been working and living in Canada illegally for the past six years. Passionate, resourceful and devoted, Margarita's role has gradually shifted from nanny to that of housekeeper, cook, maid and care-giver to the entire family. While single-handedly raising Mali, she has been quietly making ends meet, stretching the family's taut resources in creative and industrious ways. Life is not all work and no play for Margarita. The Latina has a passion for life and people. She throws groovy hot tub parties for a posse of outrageous friends and flirts mercilessly with hunky Brazilian handyman Carlos who clearly worships the ground she walks on. But, she's already in love. The object of her desire is Jane, a shy, commitment-phobic law student, who, although she clearly loves Margarita, is hesitant to bring their relationship out of the shadows. Somehow oblivious to their dependence on her, Gail and Ben decide that Margarita's small salary stands between them and financial stability. They fire Margarita, setting in motion a chain of events that leads to an immigration investigation and a deportation order. Heart-broken and disillusioned, Mali withdraws further from her parents, forcing them to finally take an honest look at the state of their relationship and their family.

I am A Woman Now
I Am A Woman Now (formerly Casablanca Revisited), the first generation of transsexuals who had their sex change in Casablanca back in the mid-1950s to 1960s take stock of their lives. Do these pioneers feel like total women and did it give them the fulfillment in life they expected ? The women featured in the film were all treated by the same 'miracle doctor', Georges Burou. As long as these 'patients' paid, there were no pre-conditions, no questions asked at his clinic in Casablanca. A film about the pursuit of an almost unattainable dream, about the gap between its realization and the hard reality that sometimes follow

We Need to Talk About Kevin 5/5 Brilliant!!! I can see why Lionel Shriver thought it a success. It's an excellent adaption of a book that was pretty much INSIDE a character's head. Tilda is unbelievably good in this. The last scene and the one where Kevin was a sick 6 year old KILLED me I'm the mistake you wanna make

Hmmm...this was an odd movie, a little sado with organs being cut... not bad but very cheap production. Still entertaining.
A man and a woman awaken to find themselves captured in a cellar. As their kidnapper drives them psychologically mad, the truth about their horrific abduction is revealed.
