Currently working on losing 50 pounds.

10 of that was a regain from what I lost in 2009, the rest is to get down to an ideal weight.

I've got about 35 to go. Should get there in October.

I also want to look into going back to school for nutrition. I need to get on that asap and figure out if I'm starting in the fall or not.

Redecorate and paint my bedroom.

Get an A in the class I just started because it will look so awesome when I apply to the programs I want to get into pray

who. me?

In the next 6 weeks I want to tone up my bod so I can feel brave enough to wear a bikini. I want to get the outside of my house painted. I need to move my kids into their new bedrooms and make some major changes to the other rooms. I'm SO excited!!

I've lived in this house (bungalow) for almost 6 years... but we've done a lot of building work over the years to get it more functional. Last year we put in a proper staircase and converted the upstairs into 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kids are going up there now we know what to do with their old rooms. We have a really weird L-shaped open plan kitchen with a room on the back and I've finally worked out what to do with that. It's going to be exciting!!

I'll be making a music video for an awesome song by an upstart band in early July. Nince Inch Nails' sound engineer has done the mastering and mixing and you can tell. Lots of raw, rusty energy.

In August I'll move back to Vancouver to take a one-year documentary filmmaking course. I'm excited about it since it'll fuse together two of my interests: journalism and filmmaking.

- Find my mother a birthday gift and make sure her 60th birthday is a nice one.

- Make a new website for myself.

- Get the rental company convinced that the air conditioning system in my apartment is really fucking loud and annoying and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

- Build a better stand for my electric piano.

- Get laid tonight.

Thank you Carrie, that means a lot! smile

It will be nice to see Vancouver again. I've missed it a great deal.

How are you doing? Last thing I remember was that you were thinking of buying a house, and perhaps finding a new job (even though you were comfortable with your current one)?

I've been in my condo for almost 3 years. Has it been that long?

Anyway - I love it. But now it may be time to sell again. My bf and I have been talking about living together but my place isn't right for 2 people. It's huge, but it's a loft and even the bedroom doesn't have a door so there's no way to go away and be alone. That's very much needed if you're to survive living with someone. We've been together 2 years. I won't live with him till we're at least engaged.

Still at the same company but my job has changed a few times over in the last few years. I'm still comfortable and still considering my options. Been tossing around the idea of going back to school for nutrition.

Losing the 10 lbs I'm due to gain immediately from dealing with a hellish May of watching someone die, planning & executing their funeral, and seeing my hub hospitalized and recovering from a life threatening accident. Because of stress I had no appetite for hard food and think I survived purely on frozen ice cream cones for 3 1/2 weeks straight. Those cones were very light going down...but now that life is fine again I fell bloated like a mofo. Sugar is not my friend mad

Short-term as in within the next year, I plan to:

Move to a new neighborhood. It'll take getting a better-paying job. I'm working for peanuts at the moment.

If I get a house with a yard, get another dog.

Lose 20 pounds.

Work up the nerve to ask out that redheaded girl.

Your turn.

So sad no one got the Charlie Brown connection...

So did I. smile Anyhoo, they say that to truly manifest your goals/desires, you should write them down somewhere, so here goes:

* I would like to get into some type of home business or investment that would allow me to make as much passive income as I am now earning at my current job so I may quit said job.

* I would like to move back to Chicago from my hometown. My hometown was pretty sad when I left it years ago, and it's even more sad now, though I appreciate being able to get back on my feet again. But it's time for a change.

* I would like to have more time to really invest in my health (eating healthy, getting enough exercise, sleep, etc.)

* I would like to get back into doing creative things, like painting, photography, write that best selling novel etc.

* I would like to meet an extraordinarily gorgeous babe who is worthy of my time, love, and afffection.
