I know. And thanks. But there was nothing there I haven't said before. Folks just don't usually pay any attention to shit if it's not in line with their personal beliefs. So once they figure out I'm trying to make points about reasons for NOT having children, whoooosh!, right out the other side.

Like I love my nieces and my little nephew, who's only a few months old, but God when he grows up, I know he's gonna be quite a hassle. |

If they could just be cheaply incubated until they were, like, twenty. And then pop out of the incubator with twenty years of learning and an adult personality....
Nah... I still wouldn't want one.

yep, it's like the MOST important decision a human being can make, but still millions of people just keep having children without having second thoughts about the "consequences/setbacks"

Exactly. I swear the first time I decided "no not having kids" was seeing Bill Cosby talk about how kids give you a headache and have "brain damage" when they get in trouble or get rowdy and end up fucking shit up. And I was like "wow, I do not want this with one child, let alone FIVE!" |

I think having a niece or nephew is like having a kid but without the stress, the fear, the pain, the trouble, the CONSTANT responsability, the loss of money Hell I love to be an uncle, but that's the frontier, I swear: becoming a fadda ?? |

My kids were great babies and toddlers...those years i loved. Maybe because I was younger and had more energy. Now that I'm older and they are teens...nah, not so much. They are so self-absorbed.
Other peoples' kids???? Forget it...don't even want to be bothered (including family). Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. |
