Maybe it's just meant to make men insecure, and I don't really need help with that.

I thought it was a little funny, but I wonder about the point, too. A more varied group of responses might be a little funnier. Maybe SHE just doesn't enjoy sex.

The only man I can see this mess making insecure is the one that was doing her.

I thought some of it was funny. The idea is that this woman isn't into the man doing her. It's not (to me) a statement that all women think this way. I think this would be a statement for women who are not into their partners.

I think this joke comes from a more old-fashioned mentality when women used to go to school, graduate then look for a man with whom to have kids and support them. And if the man turned out to be boring in bed then big deal. The important thing was they had a husband. I mean, what was the alternative? Divorce him? Unheard of! I'm sure after years of marriage it's still like this for some women today--there was at least one orger that admitted on a thread that she wouldn't mind having less sex with her husband--but I think most women now, especially the younger ones, are more vocal about what they want.
