I'm probably more 50/50 metro/masc.

I would say the new generation maybe more metrosexual. It also depends where you live. Cities have more metros than suburbs or small towns.

This is a stupid fucking question.

Metrosexual has nothing to do with actual manhood, sexual preference or anything like that. It's strictly about grooming.

It's basically a shorthand way of saying a guy likes to be well groomed. It has no bearing on how masculine the guy is or whether or not he likes women or men. Plenty of hyper-straight guys are metros, along with plenty of gay men and everything in between.

If you actually think that a guy's masculinity is affected by whether or not he chooses to wax his back...you're a dimwit.

Rococo

Gender---Social Construct.

Masculinity And Feminity--People made up this comment.

Metrosexual--kinda of sexist, because, men because of the curse of their "masculinity" cannot defy their society with habits that attributed to women, and since straight men are scared to be labeled as "queers'" they have choosen a silly little title as Metrosexual---see the mere word choice is also confusiing both sexuality and gender, which are two different things.... but why sexist? because i feel that our society, which is mostly patricharchy anything associated with female when shown in males is considered as "weird or unsual " and what does try to say as well is that anything female is wrong, why can't men just be they want to be? meaning groomed, dirty, etc ==so whats the remedy metrosexuality!!

silly little titles...

true.

i mean even our community, there persists, this sort of hyper-masculinity.

but my question is this, why can't we be, who we want to be? without little labels.

i mean if you like being well-groomed. why attach a label to it?
