Actor Nick Stahl, who is best known for playing a young John Conner in “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines,” has reportedly gone missing.

According to a TMZ report, the 32-year-old star was last seen on May 9 by his wife Rose, who filed a missing persons report with the L.A.P.D. on Monday. The website claims sources are worried that the actor, who allegedly frequents Los Angeles’ tough Skid Row area, may have gotten mixed up in some “bad stuff.”

Earlier this year, Stahl and his wife were locked in a custody battle over their two-year-old daughter. Rose reportedly filed papers in February asking that the star be granted visitation rights under the condition that he submits to a drug test 24 hours prior to a visit.

Stahl recently appeared on the Showtime series “House of Lies.” He is also known for roles in films such as “Disturbing Behavior” and “Sin City,” as well as the HBO series “Carnivàle.”

Nick Stahl 's wife reported him missing , but a source who saw the actor after the wife saw him last expressed confidence that Stahl wasn't gone for good.

"He does this sometimes," the eyewitness exclusively tells E! News. "He'll be back."

So, where did our insider last see the Terminator: Rise of the Machines star?

Two sources tell E! News that Stahl, wearing a white T-shirt and tan pants, was spotted carrying boxes outside a West Hollywood apartment complex on May 10, the day after the actor's estranged wife, Roseann, says she last saw him.

The person Stahl talked to at the complex would not comment on his visitor's mindset at the time, but says that the 32-year-old father took off last Friday or Saturday.

Roseann contacted police on Monday.

Stahl and his wife had been locked in a custody battle since February, when Roseann filed court documents to request that he only be allowed supervised visits with their 2-year-old daughter—and that he be ordered to take a drug test before he saw the child.

I'm confused...so did they find him or not.

At any rate, I hope they do and that he's fine.

No he still isn't found, they are just saying that he was spotted sometime last week after his wife reported him missing.

My guess is yes, that he relapsed and is now on a drug binge, hopefully he hasn't ran into any danger because of it.

Nick Stahl had exhibited signs of "inner turmoil" before his wife reported him missing —and his family isn't giving up on the Terminator: Rise of the Machines star.

"He has been having a tough time for a couple of months," a source close to the actor exclusively tells E! News. "He's an incredible individual, an amazing father—but addiction is something he has always struggled with."

And, the source adds, this isn't the first time Stahl has seemingly disappeared.

"He has gone missing for a day before," the source tells us, "but never longer than that. He always gets in touch. This is the longest time he has been away. He doesn't have a cell phone on him, so there is no way to contact him."

Witnesses confirmed to E! News yesterday that they had seen the Carnivale star helping a friend move at a West Hollywood apartment building last week. In the missing-person report his wife, Rose, filed on Monday, she stated that she last saw him on May 9.

Stahl and his estranged wife have a 2-year-old daughter, Marlo. Roseann filed court documents in February insisting that her husband only be allowed supervised visits with their child and that he undergo regular drug testing.

"He works so hard at staying sober, but it's a constant struggle," the source says. "He has been to skid row [in downtown Los Angeles] before and that's why the police are looking there. Everyone just wants him to come home."

LAPD officers have been showing Stahl's photo around the skid-row neighborhood and asking locals to keep an eye out. Foul play is not suspected at this time, according to police.

Hmm, maybe that could fly if there wasn't other people looking for him as well. I think he has other family and friends that think that his disappearance is out of character.

Yeah, but if he was spotted after the time she went to police... five bucks says he's fine and he just doesn't want to be bothered with HER. Just because he couldn't immediately be found doesn't mean that something is wrong, especially considering that apparently they're estranged from one another.

Nick is a great Actor who has a Gift to become one of the Greats...I hope his addiction doesnt cut his life short like addiction did to Heath Ledger...

Yeah but dude has a DRUG ADDICTION. I highly doubt his disappearance has solely nothing to do with wanting to have nothing to do with her....

That's always an automatic thought. Many of the episodes on "Disappeared", that show on Investigation Discovery, always have someone whose mobile or cell phone is turned out for a few weeks.

Nick Stahl has made good on his word.

Just a day after telling friends via e-mail he planned to get help and seek treatment, Stahl's wife Rose confirmed to E! News exclusively that the missing Terminator star checked into rehab Saturday night.

The 32-year-old thesp, who went missing more than a week ago, was "really working hard" at sobriety at the time of his disappearance, according to his wife.

"He wants to be well," Rose told E! News last Friday. "He's a good man and we want him home so we can help him."
