New Dark Knight Rises HD Trailer
The new trailer for Christopher Nolan's final Batman movie provides hints of themovie's epic scope, glimpses of its shiny Batvehicles, and a newly intelligible Bane,who could be the most frightening Batvillain yet.
Anne Hathaway's Catwoman is featured prominently in the trailer as is (more enigmatically) Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who plays Gotham City cop John Blake.
The Dark Knight Rises, which stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy,Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, and Morgan Freeman, opens nationwide on July 20th.

Many analysts still see The Dark Knight Rises as the "apex predator" among this summer's blockbuster movies.

This is Christian Bale's last Batman movie? If I remember right he hung up his bat cape.

Yep. During an interview conducted last November, Bale said he's going to hang up the cowl--permanently. That's regrettable because his superb acting enriches the character of Bruce Wayne's alter ego. | |

and WTF? : WAY TOOOOOOOO MANY action sequences in daylight!!!!
Batman is supposed to be a creature of the night...and Nolan's ULTRArealistic style is getting boring already...
I still think this will be a worthy final chapter , but not as satisfying as TDK or Begins...

I thought Begins was amazing, TDK kind of alet down and this one looks bland Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there

Hell, TDK looked "bland" just by looking at the trailer without really knowing much about it, but look how incredible that turned out when allowed to see it in its entirety. I'm sure the same will be true for this one. [Edited 5/2/12 9:43am] | |

i still enjoy Begins and the dark knight ... altho there are issues with some of the dialogue and ridiculousness after you watch them once or 2 x ...
I totally agree that too many scenes in the LIGHT ... i mean .... it is the DARK KNIGHT ... he should be doing most of his work at night .... not just the bedroom scenes ... hehe
seriously .... it really doesnt have me excited .
It looks to me like the plot may follow that of "the breaking of the Bat " saga? if that is so , doesnt someone take over for Batman as he recovers , which could explain the new charactor who is the police assistant or something ???
