FOOTBALL FANS: REMEMBER TONY DORSETT AND ROGER STAUBACH OF THE DALLAS COWBOYS?

I remembered back in the day as a young girl, watching the Dallas Cowboys at the peak of their career in the 70's. My father (who is now deceased) was a big fan of this team. Both players went on to win MVP Football Hall Of Fame, as well as Heisman Trophy. Staubach was the team's star quarterback, while Dorsett was the star running back. I also remembered their coach Tom Landry, a quiet, but serious coach who always wore his fedora hat. Also at the height of their career were the beautiful Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. What are they doing now? Any knowledge? Discuss.

Tony Dorsett #33

Roger Staubach #12

Coach Tom Landry

And the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders

Roger Staubach has made millions of dollars in real estate. He owns a very large commercial real estate management and development company based in Dallas.

I don't know what Tony Dorsett is doing now.

Wow, he's set for life. Real estate is where it's at. Thanks for the info. As for Dorsett, I read he resides back in his hometown of Pennsylvania, and his son currently plays for the NFL.

Also, I read that he has a lawsuit against the NFL for physical damages that destroyed his career.

I remember those mfers all too well. That's when my hatred of the Cowbitches began. They were on top and used to beat the shit out of my Giants. But I loved it when Pittsburgh beat their asses twice in the Super Bowl. And since 1986, we don't have to take a backseat to Dallas anymore. Fuck the Cowbitches!

Every team must take a backseat to the organization....they make the most money and are still the most popular team in the game.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

TD & Roger the dodger were my favs back in the day. I loved when dorsett took the ball 99 yds for a td against minn on mnf. The boys were playing terrible footall that game and the announcer said "they think they can just turn it on and off whenever they want"...then dorsett hit the 99 yarder.....the announcer said "maybe they can". I wish i still had my dorsett rookie card. Last year, i bought both of thier throwback jerseys and wear them proudly .

I wonder how much a rookie TD card would be worth today, if you had it. I don't know if it's me, but football seemed more exciting, back in the day smile

lol I am surprised the Steelers didn't draft Dorsett, considering he was from there. Then you must of remembered Franco Harris. Do you know what he's up to these days? My pops was such an avid fan, that he used to coach a boys football team called the Brooklyn Cowboys, and we're from NY. I think he liked the Giants, too, but heck we should of moved to Dallas lol

^^Haven't heard much from Franco, except when he came out in support of Joe Paterno last year.

The only organization I take a backseat to is Pittsburgh. Gotta respect how they handle their business. If that idiot didn't shoot himself, it would have been Giants/Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII.

But Dallas? Please. Fuck every Cowboy(past & present), fuck Jerry Jones and fuck their frontrunning fans. I hate them more than I hate the Eagles, 49ers, Celtics, Bulls, Heat & Pacers combined.

While we're on football, the NFL has suspended Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma for the entire 2012 season without pay - damn.
