We will never evolve. Have you guys ever realized that humans will ALWAYS be primitive as a species? As long as we have existed, we have never evolved from our basic nature. We still can't breath under water, or in space, we can't fly. We still throw rocks at each other, only now we have machines that throw the "rocks" for us..i.e. a gun, which is still a basic physics principle that we will always recognize as if I throw a hard object(a "rock") at a soft object(flesh), it will kill it. We still grunt at each other, only now our "grunts" is called "language" now. I wonder what word will replace "language" in the future? As old as human beings are, we have NEVER ever changed. Everything around us changes. We will always be basic, or perfect. Human beings are the perfect machine. We ALL work and operate the same way, regardless of skin color, region, age, etc. No one's body operates differently from anybody else. We all use the same body parts to touch, and the same body parts to walk. So in essence, everyone is perfect, because everyone is a perfect machine. That's why we will never evolve. And God created the Earth in order to protect us, because we are the most perfect thing he has and ever will create. And he only did it once, and got the formula right the first time. So everybody in world is a Christian, we just don't realize it. We all know who "God" is, regardless of what he's called, we know that there is a big spirit up there. He's known as so many names, because we're all still trying to figure it out. That's where religion came from. God never came down here personally and told us his name, so we keep trying to guess it. That's where Jesus, Buddha, etc. came from. We don't know and will never know what he is called. We make noise to him, and call it religion. Regardless of what we call it, we're ALL doing the same thing, when we show "praise" to the "spirit" up there. We still do this, and have been doing it, and will do it forever, because that is how he plays wit us. When we die, we all go to heaven, only to come back. It's just like a video game, except you have infinite lives. The Earth itself will always be basic, because it is perfect too. I think that the other planets were created, in order to find out what kind of "atmosphere" we could survive on. What else would there be 8 other planets for, that we can't go on? Because we couldn't survive there, and we haven't ever evolved (yet) to survive on these other planets. To know that proves how basic we still are. We know we still need air, and if we go somewhere there isn't air, we couldn't survive. That's why astronauts take are with them in space. We haven't evolved to "breathe" in space yet. So all this talk about us coming from monkeys, is a vain thing. If humans never saw a monkey, we would never think that we came from them. We see "God" as we see ourlselves. There was nothing before us, so where else would he get the inspiration to make us? From the way he looks. Any form of a religious figure you see, all have the same thing. A head, arms, and legs. Regardless of the number, we humans can't think of any other combination of body parts, because we've never seen any other kind. We have never seen any other kind of physiology. Even with aliens, we have made them up to. We've never seen aliens. If we have, why else would we draw them the same way we draw religious figures....with a head, arms, torso, and legs. No matter who it is. It's all the same. So we as humans are basic, and as smart as we will ever be allowed to be. We will never possess the knowledge of "god" because he will never let us know. The smartest thing anyone in the world knows, is that there is something bigger than us that created us. That is it, and that is how we live, and that is how he plays with us. I don't believe we will die or that there will be a judgement day. We are just pieces that will continue to be put on and taken off the board. Holy Shit

Wow. I just saw something in Final Destination 5 that gave a clue that Hollywood is using images to control us. In that scene where the guy goes to the Chinese massage parlor, after he dies, they zoom in on this statue of a "Budda" like figure, with blood on it. They just subliminally shit on a different religion, a sign to let the goyim(sheep) know that is what they think of a different religion.
And I realized something, we are evolving ourselves. That's where technology and machinery came from. We are creating ourselves. We know we can't breathe in space, or underwater, or go in volcanoes, or somewhere freezing, or somewhere too hot, so we create things that can. That is what we evolve into. Our technology. I don't think life will always be on this planet. I think that are slowly evolving, in order to survive on other planets. We will never go to other planets as humans, It's sad, but true. But that's how vain we are. We realize that life is all we have, and that is all we can give. When you give someone food, or shelter, or help, you are offering life to them. You are giving them something to help them live. We are still basic. We do the same things the early humans were doing. We still hunt and gather food, take care of and protect our young, and we still use stones to build. A house is nothing but 5 stones put together to shield us from the elements, the right, left, front, back, and top(ceiling). By the time we get to other planets, we will be machines. Humans are so vain, that's why we create, and that's why we were created. We continue to reproduce, and create as a sign that we were here, because we want the "thing" we evolve into, to know that we were here. It won't matter though. There's no such things as aliens. I think that we were on another planet before we were put here, and humans is what we "evolved" or were changed to. I don't think we have evolved, we were just put here as a whole other species, the same way we are putting the next species in space. That's what technology is. The next species.

You know I adore you, but guuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrl............ Those paragraphs bout to give me an astigmatism.
The human race is very, very, very young. Evolution happens over several thousands, tens of thousands, millions of years. Not hundreds. And if you look at humans' track record, we have come quite a long way in such a short amount of time. No, we have not really seen very many physical manifestations of evolution (there are some, though), but mostly internal manifestations like our brains.
We have already evolved quite a bit from about 150 years ago when people lived half our average lifespan on the regular and mortality rates climbed to 40%.
Will we ever learn to breathe underwater? Fly? Grow an extra arm? Maybe, who knows. However, that is a very, very, very, very long time away from us if it ever were to happen. Billions of tiny processes/configurations of genes occur and must occur in order for mutations to become standard.

Damn can a sistah get a page break or sumthin'?
MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God said his name was "I AM" and also he goes by "THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA!" and also he goes by "YAHWEH", "JAH" and "YESHUWAH" but I'm sure I've mispelled all or most of those.
Who the hell wants to breathe under water with all that fish poo and piss and pollution from the land above sea water. Plus we could only delve so far under water lest our bodies get crushed from the pressure.
Now I would love to fly, but again there is the pollution factor, lack of oxygen and the holes in the Ozone layer. We could only go up so high before we either got sick, passed out or burned up.
Humans are right where we are supposed to be. Here on earth evolving in terms of creativity and ingenuity and kindness to others. Granted we have a long way to go but the journey is worth the destination.
Right?
Eh fuck it.

Lol not really. My cousin went to a neighbor's house and got high, and he was sorta talking on this, and it got me thinking. We're not evolving. Technology is evolving itself. Just at such a fast pace, that the "technology" we make, is all we can understand, and grasp. That's why we use it to communicate.

To address your...ahem...serious philosophical discussion...
I'd just like to say that "never" is a hella long time.
We've advanced ALOT in the past few centuries.
Do you REALLY think that humanity will be the same (if we survive) another 100,000 years from now???
I touched on this briefly in another thread...but take for example Autism. It's becoming a commonplace affliction. Same with the various levels of Aspberger's.
NOW...think of the changes to human nature that will be required if we are to travel between the stars one day, when we'll need navigators to be away from the comforts of home and worst of all HUMAN CONTACT for years possibly.
Is it possible that humanity is evolving in front of our eyes???
Just a thought, mind you, but just to reiterate to reiterate that NEVER is a very long span of time.
OH yeah... ...and you should SHARE By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

And the muslims believe that everyone is born a Muslim. Which is the reason that human being has never psychologically evolved because it still believes the hype of it's own point of view and conditioning, to protect it's own ego. You do realise that your statement is a response according to your own conditioning and has no basis in reality?

Whoa...that TOTALLY came out wrong. What I meant is that we ALL believe in the higher power that created us, regardless of what we call it or what we call ourselves. We all recognize that. Even Atheists. If they didn't recognize it, why would they spend so much time trying to prove it? We've never heard of a flying spaghetti monster, so no one is trying to prove that they don't exist. If you knew something didn't or doesn't exist, why would you waste time trying to prove it doesn't?

I'm an athiest and I don't believe in a higher power.

You can't see evolution. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Humans still can't seem 2 get over race, gender, exploitation, greed, murder, rape, deceit,...........I could go on. No, I don't see evolution.

You missed my point - which is that evolution is not a process that can be perceived while in progress. It happens over lengths of time longer than several human generations. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I can't see any measurable progress the last 5,000 plus years.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Again, human nature isn't going to undergo any meaningful change in that short span of time. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

How long should it take? 20,000 years? 100,000? More? I tend 2 agree with u...........but sense we think we are so smart u would think we could improve on the basics.
