In an unprecedented move ABC and FOX announced that the tv congloorates are renewing programs for the 2003-04 season -- even though the current TV season is still halfway through.

ABC announced it has renewed even of its current shows -- 8 Simple Rules... , According to Jim, Alias, George Lopez, Less Than Perfect, Life with Bonnie and My Wife and Kids and NYPD Blue (which was already picked up earler in the season).

ALIAS is the bomb.

FOX also announced that 24 will return for a day three.

BUT in a weird move, ABC put The Drew Carey Show on hiatus until June 25, just short of its 200th episode. The reason given was, after moving the show to two different days this season, ABC claims the show lost viewship.

DUH???

The same can be said for Whose Line Is It Anyway, most likely.

Dang it, I was looking forward to a few good laughs on Friday nights. And ABC Family and Comedy Central reruns won't really cut it.

What the fuck is Drew Carey still doing on the air? It was funny for like 2 years and it has sucked ever since.
