Yeah men take a different approach to it unless the abuser was the same sex. But to me it's still abuse. What's sadder is that it's always expected of straight male kids to have sex before turning 18 because "it proves you're a man". Unfortunately that has been part of the tradition for so long that even now these types of relationships are defended. Ask Mary Kay and Vili how people viewed their relationship. I've never understood why people worry about males being virgins but encourage females to remain virgins. That shit is crazy!

I used to think the men created the double standards but now I think maybe the women created them or at least encouraged and expanded them. So much of they dysfunction in male/female relationships and family dynamics can really be laid at the feet of women.
