Watch The Total Recall 2012 Trailer

Synopsis:

Total Recall is an action thriller about reality and memory, inspired anew by the famous short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick.

Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he’s got a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life – real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man.

Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the free world – Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop Cohaagen.

The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate.

Colin Farrell, haven't seen him in a while, well not since I saw that mermaid movie he did. I'm kinda curious. But I wasn't all that crazy about the original, which is backwards I think.

My first thought of the movie was the dude looking like a lady with the fuse head malfunction. Colin is such a hottie, hopefully will bright some youth and more vigor to this cut...although I did like Arnold's take the first time around. popcorn

i swear i needed a subtitle button for that whole commentary on that dvd lol

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Damn, my DVD doesn't have the commentary. LL Cool J's one on "rollerball" was pretty hilarious for similar reasons too LOL.

He appeared in the remake of Fright Night which I heard was pretty good. I've seen the original on cable which is awesome and you gotta love Roddy McDowell.

Colin has become an afterthought for me.

Yeah I saw it. I liked it. It was like a modern fairy tale. So it was really sweet, but with a bit of an edge.

lol I'm not a big scary movie fan, there are a handful I'll end up seeing but most I pass, so I haven't seen this movie but I do love Roddy.

you know, I loved this movie when I was a kid, but now I think is severely flawed; but DAMN Arnie KNOWS how to make an entertaining DVD commentary falloff

Netflicks seems to think I'd enjoy it. I'll give it a view.
