At the outset, we did not call attention to his behavior. I believe my daughter wanted to overlook what were clearly feminine qualities. In fact, she still calls “her” by the male name she gave him at birth. As time passed he told me he always felt that psychologically he was not a male, and many in the family besides my daughter did not accept it. He hid female apparel from his mother and only spoke to me concerning the extreme mental anguish he was experiencing.

At the age of 17 he decided to live openly as a female and begin the transformation. He is 19 now and most of the family has accepted him…even his mother. 'Nature versus nurture' in so far as my grandson is concerned???

I believe nature to be the determining factor in his sexual identity. His childhood was exactly the same as his biological brothers. He was raised in the same home and went to the same schools. What caused gender dysphoria? I believe many reasons for our sexual identity will be understood at some point in the future. And hopefully some of the ignorance will disappear with knowledge.

Ultimately, it is the brain that tells you who you are...not the body. And fyi, my granddaughter is not homosexual. She is a woman who loves men.

lol well first i've always had good skin , i got to the dermatologist almsot ever month im constantly doing ever thing i need to do to keep my skin clear, and blemish free and i eat healthty too

also i have eliminated things such as smoking and drinking my from life drinking takes a toll on you and ages you real fast alot of my friends who were heavy drinkers in the past look horrible in 2011

also i have good genes my mother did not get her first wrinkle on her face til she was almost 60 so i guess i get it from my momma lol they was telling her she looked 18 when she was almost 40 lol

All good things to do. And good genes help too! I never smoked and only drink red wine occasionally. Never did any drugs. I don't go in the sun either. I'm too light-skinned and tanning makes wrinkles anyway. I don't look my age either but damn, I wish I looked that good.

i get approached by men all the time and have a wonderful sex life but im tired of straight guys and there issues with their sexual identity because of there attraction to me

i use to have a boyfriend who banned me from talking to him in public in front of his buisness associates, ban me from walking up and saying hi to him when ievever i saw him around the city and would only come out with me at night when nobody could really see us
