Sending positive thought for little Demetrios Demetrios is one week old today.
He's my cousin's son, born with Truncus Arteriosus.
Today he's going thru a battery of tests, and hopefully he will go into surgery tomorrow to correct his heart defect. It's a 5 hour procedure.
My cousin was told there's an 80% chance that he'll make it.
We're all being positive and I ask for all you wonderful orgers to send your prayers and positive thoughts in the direction of Miami, Florida for this beautiful little baby boy to come out of this OK.

I felt weird posting this...but honestly I AM a believer in positive thoughts & prayer.
I have a knot in my stomach thinking about little Demetrios. My aunt and uncle down there are worried SICK about it. They live in Port St. Lucie but traveled to a special hospital in Miami for the birth because they needed to prepare for this (they found out early on about the heart defect via sonograms so they did c-section last Monday).

He went in for surgery this morning.
It's at least a 5-hour procedure.
I am sick about it. Makes me appreciate the TRUE blessings of having healthy children.

So glad the surgery is over. Will keep the positive vibes and prayers coming tho.
