Yeah, I don't care to much for him either...

He's a heart case, not a head case, and I say that knowing he helped my favorite squad win two titles. I think the voided Chris Paul trade set him off. LA and Odom would have been better off together, my sense is the individual currently that passes for an owner in LA pulled the trigger when his father would have handled it differently.

Well for sure it wasn't because of his dad. The media got a hold of dad and asked him about being sick. His dad said he was just fine, only a 24 hour bug. Surely not serious enough for Odom to blame his unprofessional work ethic on caring for him.

I'm going to blame Khloe. I think that this is all a media scam to make the reality show more interesting.

Either way - good for Carlisle for demoting his ass to the d league. I wish they would've kept him there for a little while longer. I'll speak for Dallas and say that we don't want him.

I knew something was fishy when I saw that "Odom's dad is gravely ill" headline.

He on that reality kick and is too distracted to play a decent game. Or maybe he's just getting old.

According to Odom's team/peeps, it was Odom himself who requested to go to the D-League to get his timing back. At least, that was the spin they were putting on it at the time (late last week). Of course, that wouldn't explain why he all of sudden changed his mind, allegedly, and decided to stay with the team.
