You should read the ingredients within Subway's current breads. Not everything is natural. disbelief

I prefer Submarina which is no where near as popular, but I think they have the better sandwiches anyway, I hope they can stick around. Blimpies is pretty good, too, well the one tied up with Walmart isn't too bad.

As chain sandwich restaurants go, I like Jersey Mike's.

Firehouse Subs are real good. I always get the turkey, roost beef, or corned beef whenever I eat there.

Subway has become absolutely horrible these days. All of them in my area are owned by Indians these days. Not to slam Indians because I looooove some Indians and there are a lot of absolutely wonderful Indians out there and Lord knows, they are some of the sexiest people on the planet, but a lot of the ones that own these Subways are stingy as hell. The meat was already skimpy but it looks like it has gotten even skimpier.

The Subway near my job does pretty good (for a Subway) but the one near my apartment is rediculous when the owner is in there. When the employees are in there, I have no problem but the last time I went in there, the owner fixed my sandwich and I have never seen anyone this stingy. He put barely any olives on it and I asked for some more and he said it would cost extra. I asked him since when and he said it has always been like that....which is a damn lie. He pulled out some picture of a sandwich from underneath the counter on how it's supposed to be made and he said that only five olives go to each footlong. I mean, he counts each individual sliced olive! Hell, I went to the Subway near my job the next day and they loaded my sandwich with olives. I haven't been back to that one near my apartment and don't plan on going back.

What was that Italian trio sandwich for $1.69 back in the day? I used to live for that!

I noticed that they've imported the Subway chain over here, and honest to goodness, the same damned sandwich with those 3 slices of cold cuts cost 4 euros for a 6.inch (about USD $6.00). Suffice it to say I haven't eaten at Subway for years lol

As the above two posts said, Subway's stingy. I don't really think it has to do with Indian owners - this is a problem generally. Maybe the company is making it financially hard on the franchisees, so many of them take it out on the customers by giving them just bread. Once someone brought Subway sandwiches to an event and some sandwiches didn't even have a piece of cheese or tomato in it. Or maybe it's their way of helping you lose weight. lol
