That's two years in a row that the "World Heavyweight Champion" (the JCP/NWA/WCW World Champion) has jerked the curtain at WrestleMania. This year, the best wrestler in the company is jobbed out in 18 seconds. This is ridiculous on so many levels...other than Punk, of all of their "budding stars", Danielson and Sheamus are pretty much the top of the list. You made Danielson look weak and did NOTHING for Sheamus on the most important show of the year, at the event where "stars are made". RIDICULOUS.

WWE is saying that they were trying to break the record for fastest title change or something like that...WTF?

The thing that gets me is they're setting Sheamus up to be the next top babyface like John Cena, Batista, Orton, etc. But what wound up happening is the result completely backfired and blew up in their faces.

The crowd damn near booed Sheamus outta the building and fans were chanting "bullshit" along with chanting the name of the guy who lost in 18 seconds up until Hell in a Cell.

What just happened is Bryan comes off very sympathetic, and people think he got screwed over.

Meanwhile, the guy that the WWE's supposedly pushing as the next "guy" looks like a gigantic asshole and gets a huge negative reaction.

So, you're right. Bryan doesn't look good because he lost in 18 seconds. Sheamus doesn't look good because of the fan reaction afterwards.

So, pretty much the WWE fucked themselves over.

Yeah, the way the treat the World Heavyweight Championship is a travesty!! Big Show and Cody Rhodes got higher billing than that. I'm glad the crowd booed the hell outta that finish! It deserved it. I, for one, don't think Bryan should've lost the belt yet, but if he had to lose it, why bury the guy like that?? The people were SUPER into him last night, PLUS they were chanting his name several matches into the show. They keep trying to push Sheamus down our throats (like they did when he first won the belt against Cena a couple of years ago), and to me, he's just not worth it!!!!!! Fuck 'im.

Trips/Taker...good match. Not as good as last years, and the last two don't even come close to the two HBK had against Taker. Not. Even. A. Little. Bit. The hugging at the end was a little much, though.

And YES!!!!!!!!!! The Rock beat Marky Mark, er...Cena!!! I love that shit!!!!!! Here's hoping they don't have them shake hands and shit tonight AND that they don't try to set up a rematch at Summerslam or next year's WM. I also hope that this begins some sort of heel turn for Cena. He's been adamant in all of his interviews that he won't turn heel and that he's a genuinely nice guy, so what a chance to turn him NOW. There aren't enough TOP heels in the company now, and I think they should turn him heel now while bringing in Lesnar as a face. Fuck it, make them both heel. lol

Chris Jericho failed to capture the WWE Title from CM Punk at last night's WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view in a 30+ minute match. Jericho took to Twitter this morning and said that he may be moving on.

"Feel like I got run over by a truck...and in a way I did," Jericho wrote. "The better man won last night. I guess its time for me to move on."

The talk when Jericho first returned to WWE was that he would likely be leaving after WrestleMania, but recent reports have suggested that he will stick around and still tour with Fozzy this summer.

source: WrestlingInc

I would've like to have seen Jericho win this one, but I guess I can't be too picky. The Rock won!!! lol Seriously though, I hope Y2J sticks around for a bit now.

"Iron Mike" Tyson didn't waste anytime making his presence felt at WrestleMania 28. During a press conference for tonight's WWE mega event at the Sun Stadium in Miami Florida, Tyson interrupted grappling Superstar Sheamus about 30 seconds into the festivities.

"You think you're coming out of here with the championship?" Tyson, dressed in a V-Neck white tee shirt, scowled to Sheamus, walking through the crowd of reporters.

Sheamus sat at a table with a microphone and replied he would be victorious in his Heavyweight title match tonight.

"No way! Where's your lucky rabbit foot?" Tyson said to the Irish wrestler. "You don't have it do you?"

"I haven't believed in 'Lucky Charms' since I was seven."

Tyson then asked him if he kissed the "Blarney Stone," walking closer to Sheamus and joining him at the table on the small stage.

"The Blarney Stone" hasn't been kissed in 3000 years," Sheamus, now smiling and taking pictures with "Iron Mike" said. "I've never kissed a Blarney Stone."

Later, with Tyson back stage, Sheamus had a prediction if Mike ever became a wrestler.

"Me and Mike Tyson could have a helluva scrap."

Afterwards Tyson had his own separate time in front of the press and declared, "I want to be apart of the WWE family. I'll wrestle people. I like this stuff."

Tyson also declared he was "the world's worst dancer," when asked about being apart of Timbaland's Flash mob earlier in the week.

Lastly, Mike--who was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE's Hall of Fame last night at the American Airline's Arena"--also described what other type of roles he wanted in Hollywood to follow-up his "Hangover" series cameos.

Tyson said he wanted to play an "Stalker, psycho killer," or "The DC sniper." rolleyes

Well Mike IS a nut... it's sad he's going the same route Joe Louis went. Why Joe thought he was great at wrestling, I don't know. I don't think Mike being in the WWE at this day and age wouldn't happen anyway.

All I'll say is they had better use this embarassing loss to really crank up Danielson's character.

I want him to be the biggest prick ever...a "pure" wrestling snob...AJ must be ridiculed, even worse than usual...especially for "costing" him the title.

One reason i wasn't even interested in watching this shit was it was basically

pre determined a year ago. Was anyone really stupid enough to believe WWE

powers were going to let Cena beat Rock in his backyard? It would have been

a fucking mutiny if that would have happened. From what i read on WWE site

last night it seemed like HHH-Taker match was one for the ages.

If I had watched, the HHH-Taker one would've probably been the only enjoyable one. Everything else sounded like it sucked and since WM was where the Rock lives, yeah, that would've been stupid.

imo last year's was better they really didn't utilize the cell like they would have previously. i'm not saying get on the outside and on top of the cage but still it left much 2 be desired. tho i did like the mic work inside the ring with the camera's
