It sounds like wedding bells will chime for Halle Berry.

A rep for jewelry designer Gurhan tells us that Olivier Martinez, Berry's boyfriend of more than a year, has given her a diamond-and-emerald engagement ring.

The Oscar-winning actress, 45, costarred with Martinez, 46, a French actor, in the 2010 film Dark Tide. They soon became an item off-screen.

The couple were most recently spotted last weekend, having aquiet date night at Iris, Cirque du Soleil's film-history-themed show at the Kodak Theatre in L.A.

Berry has been married twice before – to baseball player David Justice in the early 1990s, and to singer Eric Benét in the early 2000s. She has a daughter, Nahla, who will be 4 in March, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

A rep for Berry did not immediately reply to a request for comment on the engagement.

Well hope she will be happy this time around. I could've sworn after her divorce from Eric Benet that she said she would never marry again. Guess someone has made her change her mind.

It's crazy the way so many celebrities keep jumping into one marriage after another.Marriage can be a good thing,but it doesn't work for everybody.Some people just aren't meant to be married.Let's see how many more divorces it will take before Halle Berry finally realizes this fact.

Actually, that was my LEAST favorite part of the movie. I can appreciate the artistic value of how it was done, but COME ON NOW.
