Sometimes it's the simple things...
I woke up to a sunny day with my 2 friends in the next room visiting from out of town. We walked to a french bakery for croissants (but they were closed), so ate a little cafè instead. Now we are off to some shopping.

I woke my kids up at 8 because they've been getting up so late recently. ten minutes later I found my little girl had gone into my son's bedroom and snuggled in bed with him and they were both sound asleep again.
After breakfast we all went for a long walk on the beach. | |

We thought that the parade was on New Year's Day and missed it, ....so by the time that we found out it was on TV today, it was nearly over.

I live very close to the coast in Suffolk.
