No. They're not. Most of them are still here.

I've been a member of the org since 2003, Prince sites for years longer than that and a regular internet user since 1995. You can tell the difference between someone who just joined for the first time and someone who changed their log in. The interaction with other site members is completely different.

Some new orgers come in like a bat of hell actin' like they need to gain a rep by flamming threads, which confuses me And some are very in awe. "Hi....can someone tell me what I'm doing here?"

You can tell when a "vintage" orger returns, the interactions are very familiar

I Did not agree with everything Tony said AT ALL, and yes we had some internet arguments but nothing bad. Honestly though, there's no sense in leaving beacause a few people don't like you or don't agree with you. I am always nice but hell, sometimes people don't agree with me & sometimes i have gotten in little talks and in the end it means NOTHING.

This goes for everyone...

I don't get it. I mean people come and go from forums all of the time. Sometimes there are down times and they are really exciting times.

I mean, I have expressed much dissatisfaction with the music of Prince (almost his entire discography actually) on this forum. I rarely step foot in the Prince and More subforums, if ever really. Some people bitch, but I don't give a fuck. Like, whatever. Personally, haven't been posting as much since I have been really trying to focus on my work now. I just lurk here and there until I'm interested in something. If not, I'll just come back another time. No big deal. Even if I don't agree with everything you say, I still find your posts to be a good read (they are very thoughtful I think) and I think it will be unfortunate for you to just abandon the place completely rather than just popping in here once in a while when you feel like it or find an interesting thread.

My respect for the guy, but making a thread about leaving the org, instead of just sending some orgnotes to your friends here exchanging contact info, is difficult to understand for me, unless the OP just wants to seek attention, something usual in the internet, and in the org in particular.

With respect, that's how I see it. And this type of "This will be my last post" thread comes up every few weeks in every forum I visit, which cues everyone to rush in with the "...awww, please don't go!", lol. In any event, I actually admire people that know how to seek the attention they crave. Some unfortunate individuals just blow their heads off out of loneliness.
