Love detox

It's a new year. Many folks don't want to bring drama from 2011 into 2012. Anyone going through a love detox? You know, choosing to finally close the door on someone you love that you've realized brings more ruckas into your life than good times?

Discuss.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Absolutely. Drama queen who always found a way to wreck our peace. Overshadowed her good qualities.

MachT

I have been working hard on removing myself from toxic friends that I love

It has NOT been easy nor fun

BUT I have done rather well and the loss of stress/drama has been very good for me

Equally crucial. Doing the same.

Good for you. clapping I detoxed myself from some hookers who I "thought" were my friends 3 years ago. I've been doing just fine since. No drama (in the friendship arena) at all.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I had been so numbed out from caregiving for many years that I didnt realize how unhealthy they were for me ~ After my Mom's death last spring I became fully aware and present and NOT willing to continue !

Establishing or reinforcing boundaries with people is usually a good start.

Oh HELL TO THE YES!!!!!!

More like an emotional detox actually. I let it all go, and I'm not letting it get me down anymore. I'm going to focus on becoming the woman I want to be.
