And sometimes its just good to cut out and do something else with the time your spend here for a bit.

Also, some orgers take their anger, fears, and frustrations with the outside world, and bring them here. When something is on my mind, I lose focus. Yesterday would have been my father's birthday, and it had me down. Find something else to do besides hanging around here often because you sound burnt out. I've only been here three years, and I know how much of a hassle it can be. Also, I do not get annoyed with your conspiracy theorist posts because I have been researching them, myself. Prince is gaining new fans constantly, so it's not surprising that there'd be tons of new members. And I've been lurking on the site for years before I joined, so I did know everyone when I first signed up. I think most of the people who left (willingly) are really gone. Some people just can't take all the assholes on this site.

No. They're not. Most of them are still here.

I've been a member of the org since 2003, Prince sites for years longer than that and a regular internet user since 1995. You can tell the difference between someone who just joined for the first time and someone who changed their log in. The interaction with other site members is completely different.

I agree with you, I've been here for a year but I've met and become familiar with a great deal of members. I think some of them have left for good too, but some reconsider and come back. There are some difficult ones on this site but I think its entertaining that way.

O.K. I never even heard of these conspiracy theories until you came along. I have not read many of your posts but they are interesting and WELL THOUGHT OUT.

It saddens me when someone who puts time and effort into their thread gets beaten down for it, but that is life. Also would you rather get some nasty things posted that bump your thread up or simply have threads that go no where besides the 2nd page of the forum and get lost? What I am saying is the same thing as the saying "bad publicity is better than no publicity at all".

It is better to have a lively thread with both possitive and negative comments on it that keeps racking up the views and keeps getting bumped, then a boring and ignored thread.

Lastly, I still miss ZombieKitten and many others. It is possible to just stop posting without canceling out your membership. I have done it. Maybe the org should come up with a sabatical choice.

"This member is temperarily on leave from the org and is no longer taking orgnotes. They have/have not decided when they will return to the org." That way your name stays the same and the transition back and forth is smooth. A good month of every once in a while is refreshing.
