I put the (?) by the word "final" because I don't know for sure if I'll ever coming back to prince.org after December 31, 2011.

The fall out over at Music:Non-Prince is only part of the reason why I'm leaving.

The main reason why I have to leave the org is because.......well, it stop being interesting, fun, and educational. And noticing most of my favorite orgers leaving one by one over the recent years hasn't help matters any. And as far as Prince goes (the recording artist who was the main reason most of us became members of this site in the first place!), I have not heard anything from him musically that gotten my attention since the 3121 album, hence why I almost never post in Prince:Music & More these days.

And to top it all off, my interest in researching conspiracies within the world of politics, religions, cultures, and entertainments has been a turn-off for some orgers.

Quite frankly, I can NOT and will NOT stay around any forum where I no long feel comfortable in being myself. I'm not the same person from 8+ years ago when he first became a member of the org. Times change and people change. And I'm still changing.

Anyone that cares can post in this thread while it's active. Just be aware that I will not be in prince.org after December 31, 2011. And thanks for everything in advance.

What the hell kind of fallout happened over in the Music: Non-Prince Section? I haven't been over there much lately because it has become boring as hell with 1990s and current artists.......but it's simply discussing music or particular artists so it's not that serious to have a falling out over. I could see maybe a falling out in the Politics and Religion section.

As for whether people have a problem with you researching conspiracies and things like that, it's your life and you're free to research anything you want, be the type of person you want to be, and basically be yourself. The world is made up of many different types of people and if everyone was the same, it would be borng as hell. If they have a problem with it, fuck 'em.

Ahh Tony. We haven't talked much and I don't know you well, but I would hope you would reconsider. Sometimes I get tired of the org and sometimes it has its periods where its boring and redundant...but when times like those come, I just take a break and reappear whenever I feel like it. Anywho, whatever you decide, I hope that it will be the best decision for you.

I fully respect your decision to shut it down. Sorry that it had to end this way, man.

I don't get it. I mean people come and go from forums all of the time. Sometimes there are down times and they are really exciting times.

I mean, I have expressed much dissatisfaction with the music of Prince (almost his entire discography actually) on this forum. I rarely step foot in the Prince and More subforums, if ever really. Some people bitch, but I don't give a fuck. Like, whatever. Personally, haven't been posting as much since I have been really trying to focus on my work now. I just lurk here and there until I'm interested in something. If not, I'll just come back another time. No big deal. Even if I don't agree with everything you say, I still find your posts to be a good read (they are very thoughtful I think) and I think it will be unfortunate for you to just abandon the place completely rather than just popping in here once in a while when you feel like it or find an interesting thread.

Though if you feel that it's time for a change...then do what you gotta' do then.

Ok, it surpirises me some of the people here get so personal. The Errant comment was pretty rude and had nothing to do with the subject.
