Agreed.

I think ol' white guy is intimidated by black men because he believes they must be all schlongolian-3 legged looking heavily hung with uber veiny dicked dudes and since she's black she must be used to getting her cooch stretched out wide enough to shoot hoops in it.

So claiming he can fund her needs is his only measuring shtick. Yup, punkmistress called it right... and I don't think he really will respect Seventeendayze or her culture. He may get with her to earn black-by-association points with a crew of people who has been given him a side-eye.

She will be used as his social tool.

Listen to the women who are skilled in BS detection, Shyra, Vendetta, Punkmistress, Chocolate1, Ottensen, Morningsong, Angel, ThrutheeyesofWonder, Harleopolis and others can not be all wrong. Heed their warnings.

Shit, its a rare day when all these opinionated women agree in one accord... its clear to them and so it should be to you because you do not strike me as a foolish woman, just a bored one.

I don't like him.

I understand some of what you're saying here, although I think some of it is a little far-fetched based on the small amount of information that's been supplied.

However, I can't really agree with your advice in the end. I think it's important that people live life, have these type of experiences and come to conclusions about them on their own.

Take yourself for example; would you make this type of decision based on the clearly biased opinions and preconceived notions of a bunch of anonymous internet "voices", or would you go on ahead and live a little so you could make the decision yourself? I'm pretty sure you'd choose the latter.

As I said before, whether or not anyone chooses to like the fact, or even agree with it, everybody on Earth is not required to know what you've been through, or what may be a sensitive topic to you. Sometimes, when people who don't already know each other are interacting, those boundaries have to be learned over time.

And really, what could it hurt for her to have this experience on her own, anyway? Maybe dude is cool and they enjoy spending time together. Maybe he really does do something nice for her. Or maybe he's a dickweed, which will serve to better educate her for making such decisions on her own in the future. Whatever. So long as she doesn't give up the good stuff - no harm, no foul.

Naw see.... what Seventeendayze is doing is totally NOT my style.

I am the type of person who fucks up totally and runs here after the fact to tell folks my horror stories. disbelief

Haven't you remembered any of my messed-up dating tragedies? Don't you even remember, the coochie confetti, phimosis dick, blood in the chile, locked in a room adventures I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy???

Hell f---s no I don't want her to experience the bullshittery I have! Heck if I can steer her clear from all that I sure would!

Its a damn small miracle I found a semi-normal dude to be with. whew

You know...I had some interest from older white dudes and turned them down. One was a millionaire who looked like something from tales from the crypt....VOMIT! He touched my hand and I cringed and I think I had nightmares later.

The other older white guy is about 10 years my senior, divorced, but he was too fucking needy and it irritated me. He too has a good financial empire. I knew I couldn't love him and he was looking for a wife within a year. Also, he was trying too hard to "fit in" with his percepton of my culture, and it completely turned me off. he STILL tries to call me every now and then (I guess I am unforgetable)

If you are just hanging out, I guess there is no harm, but if he is all needy and shit, run. If you yourself are needy and shit, don't bother.

However, I will say that if he is flaunting and leading with his money as a reason to date him, I see no reason you should not enjoy his wealth...a few trips to tahiti could be nice if you can go and still keep the panties on......

I am a 50 year old white woman.

I have said many times that if I was a 50 year old white man I would be hitting on black woman specifically.

Why? Because there are fewer black men available per black woman and that is why black women bitch when black men hit on other races. There aren't enough of the men to go around and satisfy all the women they don't need to be thinning their #'s down more by going outside the race. That is why any thread about white women dating black men is sure to get at least three orger banned before it gets pulled from the org. It is a hugely emotional topic. I honestly think the reason is that there are more successful, funny, smart, attractive, drug free and well educated black women then there are black men with only half as much going for them, to meet their needs. Even when black women lower their standards, they still have a difficult time finding a black man that will love them and only them.

That is when smart men of different races should pic up their eyebrows a bit. There are plenty of very good looking single and well educated black women out there. They may prefer a young healthy and well educated black man over a 50 year old white dude but given that Mr Right Blackman already has a couple of girlfriends and a second tier of ladies just waiting for the first round to step aside, maybe these beauties might be willing to be as open as their brothers to dating outside the race.

He is deffinately selling himself financially and you should, and I mean it, test him to see if he is a man of his word. Let him take you out. Just because a man is wealthy does not mean that he is generous. See what he is made of. Is he a good conversationalist? Do you like the places he takes you? Is he fun to be with? Do not "put out" anywhere near the first date!!! Not with that kind of man.

But yet here you are giving her advice, over the internet, faceless. You just told her to go out with the dude. Isn't that giving her advice? If she didn't want other's input of advice, I don't think she would have posted this. What she chose to do with this internet advice is her business. Also, if you read her first thread, you will see that she has an pattern of picking the wrong type of men.

Good men are good men regardless of colour, race, religion, age, or creed.

And at risk of generalizing...from what I've heard...some rich white men might look at black women as disposable pleasures rather than worthy conquests. I hope your guy ain't like that. Just be careful, ok?

Agreed.

You took the words you chose to highlight way out of context. I was addressing that question to paintedlady, a very strong, opinionated woman, as a small part of the overall conversation that was taking place. It wasn't really meant to prove myself right or anybody else wrong so much as it was just being used as an example for how I think this type of issue should be addressed.

Also, not so sure I was giving advice so much as providing an alternative to the usual answers these questions bring at the Org. I'm one person, with an opinion that was different than everybody elses until Deadflower posted. I posed the theory that it would be better for her to go out with the guy and see for herself, true. But if you read all of my responses, its not like I was really on a soapbox telling her what to do.

Also, again, I wasn't telling her to ignore any other advice, nor admonishing those who offered it. I never questioned her asking for it, either. I was just offering a different perspective. Sometimes a different perspective is needed. biggrin Its just important to me that, when these threads stay civil, people take the time to look at these issues from as many different angles as possible. So far, this has been a very positive thread.

Found it; so sorry boxed

New thread update;

WHY IS DEADFLOW3R SO DAMN INSECURE???

But dating outside your race doesn't necessarily mean you want to score points the way that politicians do when they can't kiss enought black babies come election year. I honestly think it is supply and demand. Black women also have the reputation of being less uptight sexually than white women. Having read the org for the last 2 years I know that this is not true and that black women can be just as uptight as any white women but surely this stereotype i can play in the black womans favor if she knows how to use it to her advantage and not be used by it (thus don't put out early when dating white men born before 1970)
