Just today I heard some complete garbage circulating about me from a close friend that had heard some bullshit from someone I trusted. It's not the first time, so no more telling anyone ANYTHING! I will stick to random internet friends instead

To be honest I'm making a fuss about this one small thing (my cooking)but it's a recurring issue - it's a family member, who calls me up to chat regularly and gets mad when I don't say much, then gets drunk at parties and blabs completely strange misinformed rubbish to people I know. I wouldn't mind so much if my words weren't construed into weird theories and assumptions because the truth is sensible and unremarkable. It's the gleeful semi-malicious spin that is put on it that makes me mad
