The New Mad Max Trilogy
November 30, 2011
Mad Max: Fury Road, the long-awaited next installment in George Miller’s post-apocalyptic franchise, will be the first in a new Mad Max trilogy, according to Financial Review.
...
Miller’s partner Doug Mitchell told the Review that script for the second is written and the third is nearly complete. “We never intended to, they were part of the exploration of the characters.”
...
Mad Max: Fury Road will shoot in Namibia beginning in April 2012. Much of the shooting is going to Namibia, after Miller had decided to film in Australia, because it’s been too wet in Australia to produce the desert conditions the film needs for its sets. Further production and post-production will be done in Australia.
...
The budget, according to Mitchell, is “confidential but it’s massive.”

new trilogy? after thunderdome? or before thunderdome? or before Road Warrior? and with a new actor? kidding me?
can you imagine Spielberg hiring Shia LeBouf to play Indiana Jones for a new trilogy set between Raiders and Last Crusade? it doesn't make sense, does it?

The ones with Mel Gibson were the business! Loved Mad Max, Road Warrior, and Thunderdome. Those films depicted a post apocalyptic world just as I imagined it. This new installment will be pure fly ridden shit. I hate Hollywood! FUCK THE STUDIO HEADS IN THEIR DAMN EARS! I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
RIP Dick Clark, Whitney Houston, Don Cornelius, Heavy D, and Donna Summer. ![]()
