My children are unwell. My husband can't take time off work because he's got so much going on and is already very stressed. Although I have a toothache from hell I wanted to be at work today but i've had to call my boss and let her know I can't come in because of the kids. She tried to sound understanding but I can tell she's actually really pissed off because we're already under-staffed.

I hate having to feel guilty all the time - either to my family or my work. I already constantly feel that there are not enough hours in the day. I'm thinking about quitting my job. But I don't want to. I wish I could be in two places at once.

Today I got a Christmas card from a my old friend's grandparents. I stopped being friends with this person a few years ago, she was a complete arsehole. Our friendship ended after a long pointless arguement.

But her grandma still sends me a card every year. Either she doesn't know that we aren't friends anymore or she's trying to creep me out.

Nothing has pissed me off for the day yet, but I've only been at work for an hour so far. Give it time, I'm sure there will be something or someone who will do the job of pissing me off before I get off at 4pm.

I am co-head rep for the Union.

I was out for 4 days before Thanksgiving because of the death of my Granny.

I just checked my work email...

Some of my coworkers have lost their damn minds.

I got a ten page paper due and I have only been reading the articles, theirs always something due... well it's 5:45 and my presentation is at 10:40 and I'm just now making it.... whatever! I needed my sleep so I went to sleep around 11 to be up this early. Don't know if I'll finish it but thats okay.

I just found out that a certain someone is renegging on their promise to pay the car insurance this month, which cancels TODAY.

Was not expecting to have to dish that out.

My day hasn't improved. I just don't feel like I can handle anything today

I'm going to open a bottle of wine and shut myself in a room. I can't deal with real-life people today.

today isn't a good day for me either. my husband is having major problems with his boss at his job. we were both hoping it would get better, but it just isn't. we're looking for a new job for him, but with the tough economy it isn't easy. but i don't know how much more my husband can take? i worry for him.
