Might I ask Why so gloomy?

Well,
I guess I didn't realize that my comment came off all that gloomy.
I'm just looking for a place to fit in around here, I guess.
And since the newer crowd are the dark cloud people,
I figure, why not join them?

Okay, okay,
TBH,
I guess I'm just kinda making fun of the older orgers who keep complaining about the state of the forum, izzall.
Please don't read any more into it than that, Ace, b'cuz, I'd hate to think that I would cause any break to the vibe that you're shootin' for on this thread. That post was my lame attempt at kidding around.

I can guarantee you,
you probably aren't gonna find anyone on this site more grateful for what he has in this life than me.

falloff falloff falloff falloff falloff

I see you as hilarious in a way all those bright and perky old timers will probably never even get, lol. Some of the old folks around here need to turn on "The Addams Family" or " The Munsters" to begin to get you. I am 50 but have only been around prince.org since the age of ugliness/stupidity/ and senseless threads.

IN THE SPIRIT OF THANK YOU DAY biggrin

THANK YOU, THANK YOU , AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR FUNNY AND IRREVERENT POST!

Does that reply qualify me as one of those newer orgers that brings a dark cloud to this place (y'know.... like the kind that the older orgers have been complaining about lately)?

TBH, it's been awhile since I've brung a dark cloud anywhere.
I'd kind of like to be one of the ones responsible for the one that looms currently in this forum.
That'd be kinda cool.

This whole post was fucked up and darkly funny to me!

i'm glad to be alive again today*! whoo hoo! woot!

Me, too! woot! I mean, I think. hmmm Can't remember what it's like to be dead, so let's go with the odds! woot!

*Dear God, thank you for once again not sending flood, fire, earthquake, and other natural disasters my way. with any luck, today will be simple and propductive, a bit of laundry, a bit of vaccuming and dusting. no bomb threats or plague. thanks!

There's nothing like a simple day. cloud9 (simple and productive's even better, but let's not push our luck, here razz ).

...Although, your thanking of an entity that may or may not exist for sparing us death (so far) has put me in mind of the many who've had to endure these calamities and now I'm all bummed out. pout

Thanks! mad

hmm hmmm

*Dear Chaotic, calamitous universe, all busting out with creative destruction and destructive creation, thank you for once again not sending flood, fire, earthquake, and other natural disasters my way for this moment in time, which may or may not exist.

i apologize for being quite selfishly glad to think that i will likely not be around when the andromeda galxay collides with the milky way galaxy, nor here to witness our lovely star sol go all red giant on this slushy ball of dirt we call planet earth. i feel sorry for those who will experience any sort of similar disasters today, whether they be entities here in this galaxy, or entities in the infinite parallel universes folded alongside our own.

i pray that for any such entities experiencing abrupt new ending/beginnings, that their transition from one quantum state to the next will be smooth, painless and non fear inducing. as for me, with any luck, today will be simple and productive, a bit of laundry, a bit of vaccuming and dusting. no bomb threats or plague. thanks!

I'd like to thank you Ace, from refraining from starting up any more colonoscopy-based threads.
It just seems so contradictary to the theme of this thread.
Not to mention to the spirit of the season.

You do know you are asking for it correct? lol

If you don't know how cliquish and holier than thou this place is you soon will find out no no no! lol !!

I highly suggest that you hurry up and join the Secret Santa gift exchange for your own redemption. Unfortunately I already joined and if you get me that will not help show your ass kissing potential. I did it last year, and it IS fun.

Wait a second....

Are you saying there's a colonoscopy clique?

I mean, before I came aboard, I figured there would be a few cliques around here,

but I assumed they'd be centered more on things like kitties (every discussion site has at least one)

or about being gay (this is a Prince site after all),

but to have one based on a medical procedure where a fiber-optic camera is shoved up the ass....?

That's kinda fucked up.
Though, if that's what they're into,
I can easily see how they'd have a holier than thou attitude.
Rumor has it that you can always tell how healthy someone's asshole is by how high they tilt their nose at you.

There was once a great thread on douching for bottoms (vs tops). It was very informative and I am sure many people were thankful for it because it went on for 19 pages!

We don't really have a kitty clique here, thank God!

So that is another thing to be thankful for, that there are not more cliques then there are. I should just shut up now.

Thank you.
And I don't mean that in an insulting way or anything.
Just trying to put this thread back on track.
(and maybe win a few "brownie" points with the colonoscopy people.)
