I know what you mean. Nobody admits to liking it these days. I still love it. My tastes in films are pretty sentimental and Iam abit of a sucker for "epics", so that might explain it.

As for the 3d? Should be good as Cameron is involved but Iam not interested in seeing it again in the cinema.

I do feel weird about watching a movie that was not shot in 3D and so is an approximation of what the 3D should be. It's like I don't have faith that it's accurate to reality. I love seeing movies that were actually shot in 3D. Anyone seen the 3D documentary by Werner Herzog?

I hope this re-relases sinks like the Titanic!

It really bugs that the movie studios throw away millions of dollars on tired remakes and re-releases and not putting the money towards making new classics. I miss "old" hollywood.

Oh fucking hell

Hey, sounds cool.

But unless the projectionist rewinds the part where she gets her tits out for five minutes before continuing the movie, it's just not going to be the same as my magical first viewing.

Hey now, sex scene in 3D. Nekkid Kate in 3D....I think I would like that a lot.

I hated that movie to begin with, and they managed to make it even worse.

Remakes are so lame nowadays, its all about Money, then the Moviemakers whinge about Piracy.

Example: The Lord of the Rings, great Epic Movie series, how many different DVD Versions are there? Cinematic, Directors Cut and then Special Edition Collectors - All released in that order. Money, Money, Money......... So you go out, buy teh Cinematic they release the Directors Cut, so you want it, because you are a fan, go out and buy it and whammo, they release the Collectors Edition......

i was watching my copy of this movie with the extra 47 mins of deleted scenes alternate ending and even tho cameron is a talented director and visionary, when u look at this film, it's a love story and tragic tail of human history. the original version of this film was already groundbreaking in visuals, what the fuck does making it in 3D do? ooh we might see the propelers more in our faces?

i just don't get 3D film making because i don't see the big damn deal. the only way a 3D movie will ever work is if EVERY DAMN SHOT OF A MOVIE IS IN 3D! until then..it's pointless

only thing that will make even think about seeing this movie in the theaters again is in Imax now that might be worth it.
