I saw that too. It's a very innovative concept.

You never hear about a father getting abused, so that's what caught my attention to the suspense.

No thanx.
talk to the hand
This plotline is way too close to reality.
Change the dad into the mom, & you've got that whole sick Ashton Kutcher/Demi Moore triangle thing going on.

Well, maybe it's not a triangle, but you guys know what I mean.

That was...uh.....some weird shit. I watched the whole thing. Some parts I actually found funny though...[maybe it was the actors or something]. Sad story though [whether it's true or not]... neutral

Fiction. It's a 29 min short film.

Now that the original shock has worn off....

my question is why do so many people in movies run into the street and get hit by cars at critical moments in films?

Also, do you believe the film maker's point was to show a different angle and "turn-the-tables" on child-abuse/rape?

WOW, what a trippy movie. Can't accuse this film-maker of recycling the same old Hollywood shit. Well done, very edgy. Excellent acting and direction. Everyone involved in this film will no doubt be moving on to bigger productions.

I didn't watch it all, I skipped some parts.

I couldn't take it seriously during and after the death of the father.

That was the worst plot ever. The mother knew and could of stopped it. Then the father would still be alive. The father could of beat the shit out of his son when it first started, seeing that his son started this weird obsession at an early age. The best part was the end, because it was over... though I must say the scene with the mom killing her son was quite humorous razz

The funniest part for me was when Isaiah stepped out of the bathtub, pulled up his pants, then told his dad "Put THAT in your book!".

I think this was exactly the point. Interesting to see/hear all the manipulations and lies from the vantagepoint of the child.

Meanwhile, many times mothers do know and don't stop a thing. And kids cannot beat the shit out of their abusers. food for thought.....
