Child Sex Allegations Against Former Penn State Defensive Coach If this shit is proven to be true, jail isn't enough for this sick mfer.
The question on everyone's mind is, how much did Coach Paterno know?

Very disturbing.
My question to the two who supposedly caught this Penn State coach violating kids, why didn't they call the police?

I saw this on the news. Very disturbing and disgusting. Its getting to the point where parents can't let any adult near their child. Fuck those conspirators too. Somebody could have stopped this and they chose not to. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

Forget the police - how about intervening and helping that poor kid? Shit, they should have kicked that dude's ass, then call the cops! [Edited 11/7/11 15:21pm]

and after this perv gets out of prison...he can move to another state and appear to have a clean record... Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

He's not getting out of prison, believe me.

Joe Pa must step down.
Sad that this is how his storied carried at College Station will come to an end.
But he dropped the ball, BIG TIME.

This just in: Joe Paterno fired as coach of Penn State effective immediately, as well as the university president.

nothing upsets me more than violence and abuse against children in any form.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
From what Ive read is that the coach never saw any abuse going on, an assistant did and told the coach and the coach told his higher ups. They are the ones that dealt with it the way it was. If anyone should have gone to the police it should have been the assistant who witnessed the act. The media seems to want to call out the coach more than anyone else in this case, because he has before this been a very moral upstanding guy who teaches his team to be the same way.
There is more than enough blame to go around, but the guy who actually abused 10 or more boys is being ignored and everyone/media is focusing on Paterno.
Oh and Penn State if you want to not cause a riot don't hold a press conference at 10:30pm then fire the beloved coach and not expect shit to happen. [Edited 11/9/11 22:45pm] The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

While he did follow proceedure and report it to the higher up's at the school, he should have gone straight to the police and reported as well. Paterno, is the face of the University and it starts with him. Remember, we are talking about the sexual abuse of kids and this something that should have not been swept under the rug, for so long. It happened under his watch, whether or not, he saw it with his own eyes, is irrelevent. He failed to report, what was going on to the authories, and that is just as bad as being an abuser. If you are told that a crime is being committed and you choose not to do anything about it, then you should be dealt with accordingly. People seemed too concerned about the reputations of Penn State and Paterno, not about the welfare and the well being of those who were abused. That's a damn shame. It seems that a bigger fuss is being made of this than the Catholic Church and it's abuse of children. Or is that my imagination?

Gross , all i can think about is that old fart getting a hard on a Pee Wee football game.
Gross, I'm gonna throw up.

The catholic church allegations have been a running joke for the last 60 years. What you mean bigger fuss?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I don't recall the media making a really big fuss about the Church.

McCreary should be fired too. He walks in on a kid being sodomized, and does nothing to stop it. He should have kicked Sandusky's ass - instead, he leaves and calls his father. What kind of bullshit is that?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I probably would have accidently broke Sandusky's jaw.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Mega dittoes. It's simply unbelievable that someone could walk in on that and not immediately clean Sandusky's clock.
| |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
It boggles the mind. McCreary's a big guy who was 28 at the time. He could have easily taken Sandusky down, but instead punked out. What kind of man walks away from a child in danger? I wouldn't care if Sandusky was twice my size, I'm getting that kid out by any means necessary.
Call me crazy, but McCreary is just as guilty. It's a disgrace he's still on the coaching staff.

The story will likely turn even uglier in the near future. On the radio today I heard reporters are attempting to verify information that indicates the young boys were being pimped out to the organization's biggest donors. If true, then we are also talking about child prostitution.
This is all so sickening. So often it's young boys being sexually assaulted by men or older boys (ie: Joshua Komisarjevsky's brother who was 11 years older) I just can't comprehend how they could commit such heinous acts. It's not just the young boys who are affected for life, as it often turns into a cycle.
My prayers go out to all of Sandusky's victims and their families, nobody should ever have to go through what they did. "Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. Go down to their level, that's the only way they'll understand. You have to handle things yourself."

No he can't. He'll have to register as a sex offender. If he's released on probation or parole, he'll need court permission to leave the state. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Coach Paterno did report it to his higher ups, but what ws his moral and ethical responsiblity to report it to the police? Penn State Football contributes something like $50 million/year to the schools coffers....hence it was covered up.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
What do you mean, "What was his moral and eithical responsibility"? First, it happened under his watch and the crime was committed by a memeber of his staff. Secondly, most of the money that you speak of, is becuse of his reputation and presence at that school. Before he came to the school, they were no really known for anything. It was a cover up alright, to protect his ass and the money. The one thing that I find funny is, people are more concerned with whether or not, he should coach the game on Saturday, then what a member of his staff, did to a 10 year old kid....WOW!!. I agree... I dont understand why he didnt fire this guys ass on the spot! How could you look at someone let alone work everyday with them KNOWING what he has done... I couldnt do it.. And as the boss. why didnt he goto that childs house, find out if what was being said was true? Why didnt the intern who found them scream that out for everyone to know! How can you just turn your head to it... I would tell EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG especially the parents so they could do the right thing and cut his dick off and make him eat it after they battered it in rat poison and fried it until it was crispy... ~~~~~ Oh that voice...incredible....there should be a musical instrument called George Michael... ~~~~~

Joe Pa coached there for 46 years and worked there before he became head coach. Penn St. is no Ohio St., Michigan, USC, Alabama or other football powerhouse. They've barely been ranked in the past decade. Only two national championships in his 46 years. People aren't more concerned about whether he should coach, he's been fired.
As for not being known for anything, that may be your impression. [EDITED] Penn State University Park is ranked among the top 15 public universities nationally [8] and is considered to be one of America's Public Ivy universities, which recognizes top public research universities in the United States.[9][10] Annual enrollment at the University Park campus totals more than 44,000 graduate and undergraduate students, making it one of the largest universities in the United States.
Athletic teams at Penn State have won 68 national collegiate team championships (37 NCAA, 2 consensus Division I football titles, 6 AIAW, 3 USWLA, 1 WIBC, and 4 national titles in boxing, 11 in men's soccer and one in wrestling in years prior to NCAA sponsorship)
